I'm not OCD, but I'm kinda OCD-adjacent. I NOTICE stuff like OCD people do, and I WANT to do something about it, but I have easy access to an internal "override" button that lets me ignore it and move on. It's never a compulsion for me. I feel very fortunate for that.
I had a co-worker once who was convinced I was the most OCD person ever. She didn't like me much, so one day she got to work before me and re-arranged EVERYTHING on my desk. I came in, immediately noticed, and while it bugged me, I just hit Override and left everything where she moved it. After 15 minutes, she finally caved and asked why I wasn't moving everything back. I just smiled.
