I never saw him play but Bill Walsh said that if he hadn't gotten hurt, Cook would have set records that would never be broken. ... that makes me wish I had seen him play

He was a lot like Favre as far as fearless, big plays, with a big arm. However he seemed to have an innate sense of knowing when the window was too small to squeeze it through...think Favre with a lot fewer Ints
