Another season is fast approaching and the Pro Ranks are set. There is still a brutal number of DEAD teams littering the landscape of the PRO LEAGUES but I guess that is to be expected in the twilight of this long-running sim.
European League has a pathetic 4 teams with full (or close) rosters with the remaining teams looking like they may struggle in Regional Pro. That's pretty sad.
Pacific Pro League is slightly better with 6 capable teams battling for League Supremacy. However only 1 capable team is in the one conference which pretty much makes the fight for World League coming out of only the SEA conference
South Atlantic Pro will be a lot more competitive with only 1 DEAD team and 1 floundering team out of the bunch. Several teams need to recruit to have a chance but at least the games will be somewhat competitive. Only a few teams have a legitimate chance at going to World in all likelihood here though with Brazilian, and LA Express leading the way.
North American Pro also had many cracks show up this year and will not be as crazy strong top to bottom as it was last year unless some teams that emptied their rosters get them restocked. Still a top heavy League with Steel City, Mad Griffin, American Muscle and Alabama leading the way but with Gurupies, DC and Cincinnati sitting with empty rosters at the moment, there is a chance for the 2nd and 3rd tier teams to make a playoff push this season, a shot that did not exist last year.
Will be another interesting season this year. My early picks to win league will be
LA EXPRESS - SA PRO
TYRRHENIAN SEA WASPS - EUROPE
NOMAD NATION - PACIFIC
STEEL CITY MAFIA - NA PRO
Let's Go!!!
