PLAYOFF PICTURE AFTER 14 GAMES

Eastern Conference

Note: for all scenarios, I'm assuming Madtown will beat Ohio in Week 16.

#1 Montlake Huskies (11-3)
Head-To-Head Records: 1-0 vs Palm Bay, 1-1 vs Madtown, 0-1 vs Jersey
Points-Allowed: 213
Remaining games: Palm Bay, Jersey
- If Montlake wins both remaining games, they finish #1.
- If Montlake loses to Palm Bay but beats Jersey while still keeping their 50-point advantage in points-allowed, Montlake can still take the #1 seed if either Jersey beats Madtown or Paris beats Palm Bay -- or both! But if Madtown beats Jersey and Palm Bay beats Paris, Montlake slips to #2.
- If Montlake beats Palm Bay but loses to Jersey, then Madtown vs Jersey in Week 15 becomes relevant. If Madtown wins that game, Montlake remains #1 as long as they keep their 50-point advantage in points-allowed. If Jersey beats Madtown, Montlake falls to #2.
- If Montlake loses both remaining games, then Madtown vs Jersey in Week 15 becomes relevant. If Jersey beats Madtown, Montlake finishes #3 (unless Palm Bay beats Paris AND Madtown somehow closes the 52-point gap in points-allowed with Montlake.) If Madtown beats Jersey, Montlake drops to #4.

#2 Palm Bay Palookas (10-4)
Head-To-Head Records: 0-1 vs Montlake, 2-0 vs Madtown, 1-1 vs Jersey
Points-Allowed: 260
Remaining games: Montlake, Paris
- If Palm Bay wins both remaining games, they clinch a top-2 finish and PROBABLY finish #1. But in this scenario, if Jersey also wins both of their remaining games and closes the 14-point gap in points-allowed with Palm Bay, Palm Bay would slip to #2. And if Jersey beats Madtown but loses to Montlake, Palm Bay would also slip to #2.
- If Palm Bay loses both remaining games, Palm Bay would slip down to #4 -- unless Jersey also loses their final two games and fails to close the 14-point gap with Palm Bay in points-allowed, in which case Palm Bay would finish #3.
- If Palm Bay loses to Montlake but beats Paris, and if Jersey EITHER wins OR loses both of their final remaining games, Palm Bay locks in at #3.
- If Palm Bay loses to Montlake but beats Paris, and if Jersey beats Madtown but loses to Montlake, Palm Bay finishes #2.
- If Palm Bay loses to Montlake but beats Paris, and if Jersey loses to Madtown but beats Montlake, Palm Bay finishes #3.
- If Palm Bay upsets Montlake but then loses to Paris, Madtown vs Jersey in Week 15 becomes relevant. If Jersey wins, Palm Bay takes #2. If Madtown wins, Palm Bay takes #3.

#3 Madtown Bucky (10-4)
Head-To-Head Records: 1-1 vs Montlake, 0-2 vs Palm Bay, 1-0 vs Jersey
Points-Allowed: 265
Remaining games: Jersey, Ohio
- If Madtown beats Jersey, Montlake loses both remaining games, and Paris upsets Palm Bay, Madtown finishes #1!
- If Madtown beats Jersey and Montlake beats Palm Bay, Madtown finishes #2... UNLESS Jersey upsets Montlake in Week 16 and Madtown closes their points-allowed gap of 52 with Montlake, in which case Madtown would sneak into the #1 seed.
- If Madtown beats Jersey, Palm Bay beats Montlake, Montlake beats Jersey, and Paris upsets Palm Bay, Madtown finishes #2 -- or #1 if they close their points-allowed gap of 52 with Montlake.
- If Madtown beats Jersey while Palm Bay wins both remaining games, Madtown finishes #2 if Jersey upsets Montlake in Week 16, or Madtown finishes #3 if Montlake beats Jersey in Week 16.
- If Madtown loses to Jersey, they can still finish #2 as long as they lose by 8 points or less, Montlake wins both remaining games, and Palm Bay loses both remaining games.
- If Madtown loses to Jersey, Montlake beats Palm Bay but loses to Jersey, and Palm Bay loses to Paris, Madtown finishes #3.
- If Madtown loses to Jersey, Montlake loses to Palm Bay but beats Jersey, and Palm Bay beats Paris, Madtown finishes #3.
- In all remaining scenarios, Madtown finishes #4.

#4 Jersey Mets (10-4)
Head-To-Head Records: 1-0 vs Montlake, 1-1 vs Palm Bay, 0-1 vs Madtown
Points-Allowed: 274
Remaining games: Madtown, Montlake
- If Jersey wins both remaining games, they finish #1 -- UNLESS Palm Bay also wins both remaining games, in which case Jersey would finish #2 unless they can close the gap of 14 in points-allowed with Palm Bay.
- If Jersey loses both remaining games, they finish #4 -- UNLESS Palm Bay loses to Montlake and beats Paris, in which case Jersey would finish #3 if they can close the gap of 14 in points-allowed with Palm Bay.
- If Jersey loses to Madtown but upsets Montlake, they finish #3 as long as Palm Bay EITHER wins OR loses BOTH remaining games. If Palm Bay upsets Montlake but falls to Paris, Jersey finishes #2. If Palm Bay falls to Montlake but beats Paris, Jersey finishes #4.
- If Jersey beats Madtown but loses to Montlake, Jersey finishes #3... unless Palm Bay loses to Montlake and beats Paris, in which case Jersey drops to #4.

#5 Paris Smexies (4-10)
Already eliminated from playoff contention

#6 Ohio Greens (1-13)

CLINCHED #1 SEED

CLINCHED #2 SEED

#3 Hood Rich Dotballers (6-8)

Points-Allowed: 446
Remaining games: ATKM, 4th Street
- If Hood loses both games, Hood finishes #4.
- If Hood wins both games, Hood finishes #3.
- If Hood splits their final two games, then it comes down to Adriatic vs ATKM in Game 16. If Adriatic upsets ATKM, Hood slips to #4. If Adriatic loses to ATKM, Hood takes #3.

#4 Adriatic Sea Wasps (5-9)
Head-To-Head Records: 1-1 vs Hood Rich, 2-0 vs Palm Bay
Points-Allowed: 418
Remaining games: Sydney, ATKM
- If Hood loses both remaining games, Adriatic finishes #3 regardless of whether or not Adriatic can upset ATKM in Game 16.
- If Hood wins both remaining games, Adriatic is locked out and finishes #4.
- If Hood splits their final two games, then it comes down to Adriatic vs ATKM in Game 16. If Adriatic upsets ATKM, Adriatic takes #3. If Adriatic loses to ATKM, Adriatic slips to #4.

Holy cow, figuring out the East gave me a headache, and I actually left out a couple of unlike scenarios involving some titanic points-allowed gaps. Now watch one of those come back to bite me.

Hey, you play us in Game 16... how'd you like to ruin our chances at the 1-seed?

Good game, Montlake... we should probably just use default gameplans against you from now on and save ourselves some time.
