In casual, you can't dictate who covers who. The defense was in the dime (or nickel, whichever one has 5 CBs) package, so they lost all of the LBs except the middle LB. So someone had to cover them.

Standard = 2 CBs. Nickel = 3 CBs. Dime = 4 CBs. Quarter = 5 CBs.

That's what I'm saying, on 1st and 10, near mid field, facing a 3 WR look from the offense, someone had to figure out a way to get that specific defense, instead of a 4-2-5 nickel or a 3-3-5, or even a base 4-3 with the FS kicked out to cover.

Defend pass 94%, man defense 100%, outside 78% or what the hell ever the formula is... Someone had to figure it out. The whole point is to manipulate the % so that only the best plays get called.

Again, you don't get to choose the defense. But yes, tweaking the %'s will have a better chance of getting certain package called. The higher the pass defense %, the better chances of a good pass defense formation being used. Even then, you don't get to choose the actual formation.

For example, on offense you can choose to either use the basic playbook (mix of all of the formations) or split it up between the different formations. On defense, you don't get that option at all.

They were in non casual leagues last season and in casual now. So I think what he's saying is the non casual ai is still in there, active, and working?

At least that's what I'm getting....I could be wrong though.

no.

I'm just saying, there's a huge difference between a random whichamafuck Ai that a CPU team is usually stuck with, and the trained professional Ai left behind when a team gets abandoned.

that good Ai doesn't get wiped until the team is bought. If there happened to be a killer CPU team out there, all someone would have to do is buy it (to wipe the Ai) and then sell it right back.
