Anyone else notice tampermonkey being nuked by Firefox? Is there another script runner that can run VPB?
Forum > Goal Line Blitz > Tampermonkey?
Was another thread on this about the same thing. Chrome seems to still work and, according to one person, Firefox is supposed to be working on a fix.

What's happened to Failfox? It used to much simpler until they started doing all this crap to it. From what I understand, it's their certificate that messed up. I so much want to swear at them right now, and that feels so crap that a little thing like this messes up my whole internet experience. Ad-blockers are going to crap too.

TamperMonkey seems to be working again. I noticed over the weekend that it stopped working, but it looks like earlier tonight Firefox released an update, and now that I've installed the update, TamperMonkey is enabled once more.

Fixed finally. Not sure which browser I'd go with if Firefox becomes less consistent. I wonder if Greasemonkey works again?

it shouldn't. Greasemonkey was an issue where it stopped being backwards comparable with old scripts. Tampermonkey was an issue with a certificate expiring or something along those lines, so once they got it back in order everything worked again since it wasn't the extension that was the problem.

Had the same thing happen with Firefox over the weekend. Gave me an excuse to finally stop using it as I've had tons of memory leaks in Firefox over the past year (unrelated to Greasemonkey or addons) that have been aggravating.
I went with Brave browser. It looks a lot like Chrome & uses Chrome extensions. Tampermonkey works well so far with it. All the GLB scripts I use work with it and the best thing....Brave is (supposedly) not spying on you. Seems to run much more efficient than Chrome as well so far, very low memory footprint.

What I did was found a version of FF that worked, and disabled all updates. I use FF for GLB only, and do my pr0n surfing in chrome incognito.

^^ Yep, Firefox 20 w/updates turned off + Greasemonkey, and use an up to date browser for everything else. Works like a charm.
