looks like the FS falls over making the INT, then fumbles when he is tackled-
all the time still lying on the ground. technically that's down by contact, it appears

now, i know bugs are never going to be fixed anymore most likely
but if ever they are, this might be one to address.
Too bad there was never an aggressiveness slider for KR PR and INT/FF returns
that could perhaps fix the issue when a team loses because of a fumbled return
like in the "Biggest Comebacks thread" Theo started. Not that this was an issue
in this particular play. However, to lose a game to something like that would be harsh

Is that a low confidence FS?

I have no idea because he is the only player on the team who's build is closed to all.
how would that be relevant here in this play, can i ask?

your FS stands up and then gets blasted when the fat ass RG falls on him. o-linemen have no tackle radius so the center of the dot needs to collide

Bort did say 'size matters'.

if that is the case, it'd be better not to stand up lol
He's our back-up S and ST specialist. Way back in our first season
his FA ad said mainly for special teams, so i gladly signed him-
but i've yet to ever see his build, 8 seasons in.
I'm not gonna complain about a guy who likes to play ST tho

Now, i've no idea, but i actually think he's a bit less 'athletic' (speed, strength, agility)
then our starting safeties, but has better 'intangibles' (vision, confidence) and stamina
heck if i know, but he seems a little less explosive blitzing and at the point of attack
(which is what we mainly use the S for, thus this dot the back-up) but he never takes a wrong step
in coverage or tackle angle. A very good dot overall, but obviously not made to carry the ball

I'm guessing this is it.
The huge O-lineman just squashed the FS, causing the fumble. probably a lot of randomness and luck-
However, one would think, with him lying down, he'd be down by contact so no fumble possible.
perhaps he was starting to get up, which is so much "why?" but we all know, the game is made to work
for the most common situations. I just don't think it is programmed to let dots kno when to stay the fuck down

Askin too much, bro. Hell... we only have 2 penalties out there and both are rarely called... there's no motion plays... no option plays... lots of missing offensive and defensive formations... you name it. So, unlikely you'll see actual 'intelligent' play by the dots in those special 'football' situations.
As for the 'size' issue, I'm not the only one that remembers the ol' Q&A Bort replies and where he p'much gave the formula for fumbles. Speed of dots, angle of collision, weight of dots, then add in strength and carrying and tackling and SA's and VA's that effect outcomes. If I remember the original query correctly it had to do with Returner fumbles and how they happened (likely a complaint from someone who had a high carrying returner that had a couple of fumbles they felt shouldn't have happened). That reply led to a lot more HH LB's being built with minimal agility, big weight, high speed, and a buttload of strength, tackling, and all the FF causing sh*t you can pack on. Only take one good head-on collision with one of those to ruin a returner.

It's relevant to receiving. I'm sure you have noticed receivers sometime stop to catch the ball, very common in lower leagues. Back when I was running an all passing offense I noticed that conduct usually stopped around Con 30. The higher it got, the less often I saw that happen. A morale plunge also effects this.
