The only other thing I've seen that caused the same issue was the difference between the stamina of the starting dot vs the stamina of the backup. If the starter has LESS stamina then the backup will always get more plays and, sometimes, rather significantly. If you want to change that, make the backup the starter. It should balance out better then.
You are forgetting i can SEE exactly what the playr's stamina is
settings set to 70/71
starter comes out with 98 energy
back-up comes in and plays until has 70 energy
second back-up comes in and plays until 70 energy,
spelled by 1st back-up whenever he has more than 70 energy- still no stater.
finally both back-ups have less than 70 in 4th qrt, so starter finally comes in
and plays a couple plays but any time player below him on DC has more than 70 energy, in they come
back-ups finish game with 69 energy, starter with 95.
I don't know how else the fuck to say this to make it any more clear
