Everyone in this thread wrote a dissertation on QBs. I was trying to catch up, but my eyes fell out.

I'll try again later, maybe 1 pay a day or something

Ok I got about this far.

There's a few factors that contribute to this.

#1 is QB sliders, open man vs route comp
#2 is the amount of pressure the QB feels. The QB won't throw the ball until the risk of the throw is equitable to the pressure he feels
#3 progressions programmed by the default play or by the OC.

Some day I'd like to see a team built on the NFL's current model of passing... that is to say a team totally build on super tall, big body receivers with high jumping and the SA's and VA's to go with it (Like Jump Catch and Brace For Impact). So much here is completely based on two approaches... all run or speed pass. Since DB's can't be made very tall or heavy, why not build a 6-8 TE team instead of a 5 WR style? 2 BTE and the rest Receiving TE's of some type, built as big and as tall as possible with plenty of jump. Then put the QB on 'lofty' and just lob it in there all day.

I would agree Theo that powWRs seem to be underutilized by and large as receivers.
A lot of people seem to use them only to block, but a good strong and skilled WR can be a tougher cover
than a super speedy small one sometimes. Just like you said, its easier to make a CB who can keep up
with the fast guys than one who can fight w/ the big boys. Plus unless you are going with only go and fade
routes, pure speed might not be as important in some routes as agility and COD skills. You add size and
jumping to this and even a DB in position might have a tough time stopping it consistently.
It seems like a tougher type of player to build, because you need the right combination of stats and skills
rather than just pumping speed, catch and agility, but i feel like its not only viable, but potentially advantageous.

As of the way things stand today (and probably the rest of forever) that model isn't possible in GLB.

The better the QB is, the more likely he is to throw it to your numbers, and the less you'll need jumping to help you out when you're open. However, if you're being covered, the QB might throw it high to help you get it, or you might have to jump to out-do the coverage man

Perhaps its a cultural thing. We have this thing called sarcasm here in America.
Often times it is obvious to the extent only an idiot wouldn't see it.
I assume my great-grandparents who got the fuck out of Lithuania and russia
(because they were Jewish) and IMMIGRATED to the United States were well
versed in the concept of sarcasm long before they IMMIGRATED here to this
Nation which they helped build and fought to protect
against the retard fucking nazis and russians
they came over here to get away from in the first damn place.

Frankly I encourage any good person from any shitcrap country
like russia, china, dictatorships all over, to come to the United Sates of America if they possibly can
and if I had my way, everyone of them would be welcome to IMMIGRATE here just like my great-grandparents
and if the idiot nazis here who voted for trump don't like it, they can go on the fuck to russia
where they hate freedom and democracy. Also I encourage you to learn what SARCASM is because
i shouldn't have to write a damn treatise just to make an incredibly apparent point clear...

The whole premise of the QB always throwing to the center of the dot screws up any other kind of build.

It sucks because it's 90% logically inaccurate. On a fly route, hitting a receiver in the back doesn't do anyone any good. The ball should be dropped over the shoulder. On crossing routes, the ball should be way out in front so the defender can't break up the pass.

The target point of the QB should be the outer limit of the catch radius.

Imagine how that one change would have altered the entire WR build process. It could have been a significant advantage to have a catching radius of 120+ with 120+ speed which makes the typical WR build of 150+ Speed, 80+ Catching non-mandatory. That could change the way CBs are built, if 150+ Speed isn't required, then maybe more Jumping has to be built in, for greater deflection radius.

The entire process of separation = targets changes. It wouldn't just be center of WR to center of defender. It would be catch radius separation from deflection radius.

There'd be build options from big play lower radius guys, to true possession types, and everything in the spectrum. Total build quality becomes a thing Instead of just pound Speed to death.

The arms race of more and more speed goes away.

Jumping and Diving catches could actually become a thing, Instead of a random accident of rolls being failed. Imagine if 1HC actually did something..?!

Catch in Stride could be a QB SA, instead of a weird WR thing they don't really have any control over. The pass would be in the window right outside the deflection radius and inside the point where a diving catch was required.

It's a brave New world.

Someone get Bort on the horn. We need to fix this PRONTO!

So the best you have is a shot at the team I support and name calling? That hurts, but we weren’t talking about that, we were talking about you who played this game for 10 years and didn’t know a basic dot building deal but yet here you are talking about how to play this game. But since you want to bring up tiny dicks, at least your skills aren’t so bad and your confidence so poor that you would request a demotion from a Nat Pro league to a Reg pro #3 league. Oops

You are very delusional and don't even realize you make shit up in your head and think its real.

I never said I played the game 10 years. TG I haven't wasted that much time...
I have been quite clear many times before that I started playing in the first couple seasons,
saw one team through to pro, forgot about the game for years and years, and then came back to GLB
a little more than a year ago to re-found the team which is now currently reaching 280d tier.
Obviously some things have changed since i first played and if anything is bullshit, its that assholes like you
waste time talking shit when you could be doing something to help people through this ambiguous and poorly
instructed game system, just like I and other people do when we have been through the experience the OP has.
Instead, idiots like you do nothing but talk shit when you get screwed by the game and then talk shit at the other people
who get screwed by the game. You're pathetic and worthless, and obviously a trump supporter- or dumb enough to be one.

I've said for the last time- I am not talking to you, I have never talked to you
I have no interest in what you have to say whatsoever, and if you have a heart attack today and die
its fine w/ me. stop talking at me, you pathetic loser with nothing else to do. Your input is not wanted,
as you've made it clear you have nothing useful to contribute, and your bullshit crybaby responses
are merely waste of everyone's time. As far as i'm concerned, you are a dead man walking.
Stop talking at me, zombie boy
