What do the icons above the dots actually mean during the plays? Theres a red eye which I've seen often, an exclamation mark, I understand the sad face means they're demoralised.

Any others that I haven't seen as well?

Yeah... with some QBs, when they see a blitz and see who's blitzing, that can happen.

Was going to ask the same question.

I hope my QB is wearing suitable underwear in that case.

GLB missed out on some serious fun. Personally, I would've had even more stuff... like some speech balloons for specific situations. Examples;

Tiny CB runs into giant OG; "AHHHHHHH!"

Giant DT finds little HB on his sights; "Mongo Crush!"

QB throws the pass out of bounds; "Heads up!"

Kicker shanks a FG; "FORE!!!!"
