If their first attribute is where they want it, why continue to train it instead of moving to another attribute to train (if multi training). For example. He is building a CB. Speed, Agility, Vision, Tackling (just examples) are what he's training right now with Speed being the one he's focused on with SP. He wants to get speed to a natural 100. Once it reaches 100, wouldn't it make more sense to switch out speed with the 5th attribute (lets say jumping) to start training that instead of continuing to train speed?

The question about main skill where you want it is: investing in skill points or end build skill level? If skill point investment then keep training, but if end build skill level swap out skill for another attribute.

that might help

those are the amounts your attributes will grow without training them.

for example on your QB, at L19 his Throwing, Strength, and Vision will grow another 20.14 points without training them at all

Agility, Confidence, Stamina and Carry will only grow by 7.76

If you're happy with those projections, switch attributes. If you want more, then you'll have to keep training

Since all your dots are level 19, by this time you should be multi-training all of them... or at least ready to switch over by now. When multi-training (or setting up to do so) you have to choose one of two paths. Either you plan on training your primary from day 1 to plateau (or, at least until you switch to light training for BT's/AEQ)... or you plan on stopping at a specific # and letting ALG's do all the rest. If you're going with plan A (training until the end) then you purchase your primary as a fixed slot and forget about it from then on. If you're doing plan B (stopping eventually) then you do NOT purchase your primary as a fixed slot.
Having said all that, I have 'changed my mind' along the way which means buying a 4th skill to train to take it's place. So there is that.
Also, there are times when building that you do NOT want to train past a # but, instead, use SP's to cap to get the most out of those ALG's. In that case, yes... stop training and either swap out for a different skill or simply reduce (if you're talking fixed training slot) your multi-training down by one (from 4 to 3 slots).

I guess I should of elaborated more on it. To switch or not depends on how your building your dot.
I usually start my dots using bolicks plan and adjust from there, if i was building where his dots levels are I would say that his second attr is around 32 right now if he is multi training.
By the end of the first season I stop putting sk pts in my first attr when it hits 10 sk pts by that time my second attr is around 32 and i use the boosts to take it to 48 at the end of the first season.
Now my first attr usually isn't where I want it to be yet so I keep training it and also let the alg's take it up from there. Once it that first attr hits where I want it to be at plateau then I switch to another attr which is usually one of the minor attrs.
If you use your seasons end boosts to take that first attr higher then your training your second and 3rd attr pass that 32 mark loosing training pts in them for a bit until you can cap them.

And you are correct if he only wants the end build to be 100 by end build and has it high enough to where alg's finish it off then yes switch training to another attr, usually you want your first attr a bit higher than 100 though on most cases.

The 100 was just an example. Random number i chose. Makes sense with what you said.
