I think the in-season cap is 30 TPs

Sounds right. After 30 you’re losing 2 a day.
Don’t save them. Just auto train, chumps.

Not always, bro. There's a few times when you don't want to train, saving until next level-up to hit that sweet spot and really get the best out of ALG's before you hit the training again. Usually happens to dots that have had training breakthroughs along the way and you don't want to train past the next cap by accident. I think I've done this maybe 10 times total in my career but it does happen.

I don't usually let my TP's get that high, but in this case I've had a few training break-throughs and wanted to double check. I'm currently holding TP's, then going to boost a dot at 40, and then hold TP until day -8 and boost some more and then train. Getting to postseason is the key while keeping TP's under 30.

It sometimes makes sense to delay multi-training; however itnever makes sense to waste a TP.
If you really are up against the 30 tp limit, and doing a multi-train will push you over the next cap
in a skill you're spending SP on, then just do a single train in something else until you are ready for the next multi-train...
i thought this was universally known. that makes way more sense than just throwing a TP away

UPDATE!
My BT’s went to 34 on day -8 Season 71, and meant I could wait and boost first before training

And don't forget dementia. If you have it, its easy to forget you have it, if I'm remembering correctly.
This morning I was trying to remember the rules about having a player on a team that goes CPU (owner sells).
Can you release your players to become a free agent? And what if there gets to be only 40 players on the roster, will the system still let you release?

Do I have to train every day? Is there a training point maximum?
No, you do not have to train every day. You can only stockpile up to 14 training points if you are not on a team, and 30 TP if you are on a team. Training points are reset to 14 automatically when you no longer have a team so you want to use up your TP if you are going to become a free agent.

if your team sells, you get 3 days to use the release yourself link. it doesnt matter how many players are on the team.

that only applies during the season. i swear i remember that being reset from 30 to 24 because i can remember losing TPs during the season because i was trying to store tps on a rookie to wait until day 4 so i could get some breakthrus
