Calm down! I was agreeing with you!

Ah. Sorry then. Geez, I'm cantankerous today. Must be nervous about the playoffs.

for years, teams have retained the AIs from the previous owner and only get reset when a new owner buys the team. I've been on many bad teams over the years, and it was fairly easy to predict which teams would lose to CPU teams. The higher up you go, the harder it is for CPU teams to beat average human teams. But at the lowest levels, it's easy to lose to the CPU teams and once you get midway through your builds, it mostly depends on how good the coordinators are.

there's really no difference between average-to-above average human teams routing CPU teams, and those same human teams only slightly beating CPU teams. the latter may feel more realistic and appropriate but it would just mean another thing to ignore when encountered.

CPUs have to matter -somewhat- (since they're a good portion of the game right now, heh). the only way to do that is if they show some life and beat human teams who do not go above and beyond, now and then. and, even if humans do go all out against CPU teams, allow for RNG to tilt things just like it would as if they were playing a human. still going to win a vast majority of games against CPUs... just not sure how there is any other way to get rid of the "unlucky" feeling when you lose to them. best to just accept it

maybe even bring them up a tick! The harder they become, the more interesting it makes it!

This was the play-off game from yesterday! http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/game.pl?game_id=2940639

What an unexpected surpriseeee!

It must be that .36 punting that gave it enough hang time to make over the bar!

some horrendous play calling. the OC should be fired. punted from the opp 30. even at that level, a 47 yard fg is possible. 3rd and 2 and cant convert a 1st down on 2 tries. if nothing else, your ST should have been able to win the game on its own. but a l47 with an el of 45 is pretty bad. fire the STC too.

Well i run both the offense and defense lol defense was tagged as well. Team is folding after this season anyway. Offense was supposed to be plain Jane. Just trying to get the ground game going. Apparently the CPU team was ready for that lol

the defense was good. from the ELs the o-line looks like it should have dominated, unless they have no stamina. whoever used to own voodoo obviously had a pretty good defense.

i see a big problem. you gassed all your human dots playing ST, while your returner played defense. should have signed 3 more cpu just to play st and let your returner only play ST and dominate the cpu coverage teams. against cpu teams, you really only need 3 or 4 good blockers to spring a good returner. also looks like you had a higher level returner that wasnt used.

Yeah doesn't seem like it was glb defense for sure. I might be better off letting glb run the offense in the future lol I dont run st

Something I've noticed about CPU teams and how they play you. If you play a straight up offense against them then the CPU team seems to play you tougher... almost as if your setup works right into theirs. However, if you play an oddball/non-normal style (meaning you are all run or all pass or as much of either of those as possible) then the CPU AI seems to be less able to adjust properly. At least that's what I've seen the most of.
