What aggressiveness setup should I use with him? And with his speed and agility? Or what is the best tactics setup for him. Thx. I feel tactics what I got lost time can be the problem here. And low vision. But earlier with diff setup he was better and he did just shoot thru the block to get the screen easly for loss or no gain.

Thx in advance.

Probably 1st off talk to co-ordinators etc

Hes a Cov LB with low strength so wont be breaking through blocks at this level - Usual advice against screens is little or no aggression as with low STR he will not want to engage a decent blocker

Tackling wrap up play on hard and get busy covering !!!

Just so you're aware, if you're on a human-owned team that doesn't have an OC or a DC, that probably means the TEAM OWNER is also the OC or DC.

I've seen several threads where you've asked questions about tactics, people have told you (correctly) to talk to the OC or DC on your team, and you've responded with "There is no OC/DC." You're taking their advice too literally. When someone says "Talk to your DC," what they're really saying is "Talk to whoever runs the defense on your team." In your case, that's probably the team owner.

Keep in mind, the various coach/GM titles on teams here on GLB usually don't mean much. On my current team, nobody "officially" holds the title of OC or DC. I'm the Owner, and I handle the offense, special teams, and finances myself. xxflip is listed as the Co-Owner, and he runs our defense. And even on teams that do have all the coaching positions filled in, there's a very good chance that those people don't actually perform the job that matches their title, as coaching titles are often handed out just for fun or as a reward for helping the team in other ways.

So... PM your team owner, find out who is running the defense for your team, and check with them on your build and tactics.

Also of note :

That is a Casual team. Casual means minimal human input is needed, meaning the Ai controls a vast majority of what the dots do in the first couple of seconds in every play. The trick with Casual is knowing what the Ai will hand you, so that you can build your player to best deal with that.

On a regular team, coordinators have a lot more control.

In general though, for the first few seasons, if you build a defender with Speed first. He's going to run the wrong way at a high rate of Speed. If you then add Agility, he'll at least be able to recover and change direction quicker, Vision is your ability to read the play and get going on the right direction.

On top of all of that... There are offensive play calls where the defense is scripted to run the wrong way on purpose, and the only thing you can do is build a dot that recovers faster.

novus, he just get that team for try out and fun. And not gonna keep the team next season or anything like that. And i did pm him about that. And since it was a cpu team for a while just got owned not long ago. So it is not the case.

We are good at cpu level. So thx for the idea.

Tj i have open build and 110+speed with 70+agility with 4 first step so he did recover quickly. But wasn't sure why he did go out to cover almost than returned to middle and stop. Than tried to go out again. And did hit the ol block also. Then save the td but still he was way much better this season, but that time we did use advanced ai not casual.

I just tried to see if my settings is wrong or what can cuz that. Thx guys.

Its too early to be putting SP into SAs really... that is something i would suggest against
i'm not really sure what the issue is. the RG gets a block on him and then he has to fight through traffic
to get anywhere. I get that he makes a mistake in his coverage, second guessing as he goes back to the middle:
i'd guess its either (and probably a combination of both) the play-call telling him to zone the middle and low vision.
Since you are not going to be on this team long term, the play-calling is irrelevant, and as you're still working
on speed or agility i assume, you can't do much about the vision yet besides making sure its in your multi-train
and having some star bonuses for that. Patience is key... no one is going to be an NFL player in his second season,
and jumping the gun on getting SA too early will only hurt him down the road
