My first thought was "Probably a super old player from Season 2 or something," but then I saw his age: 460 days old.

I used Search to find another one... also 460 days old, but somehow Level 80.

There's also this Level 81 player that is a bit older, built back in Season 39, but the current building system was firmly in place back then. So again, shouldn't be possible for this player to be above Level 79.

I see a few other dots that are Level 80 and 81, but they're much older and were probably created under the older build process that made such high-level dots possible in extreme cases, so probably nothing amiss about them.
I don't see any others when I search for Level 82 dots, or 83 or 84.
Whatever the issue is, it doesn't seem to be a widespread problem, thank goodness. Only 4 cases.

i'd laugh if it's that old boosting trick people used where they open up a bunch of youtube videos to create a ton of latency, and then spam-boost one level at a time in 15 windows
you'd only ever get a level or two out of it but yeah that was a thing

A: No, it is not. We are implementing a hard level cap of level 79. Once you have reached level 79 or 281 days in age, you will no longer be eligible for any XP or boosts.
