Last play before OT, and our FG distance is set to 52. I know that in regular leagues, you can add +5/10 yards to a FG range. Is there any way in casual to have this try a FG instead of the punt? Even going for it would have been the better option. I know that casual is extremely simplistic, but I figure that it cannot hurt to ask.

Just increase the distance in the fg section of the offensive tactics but that will do it for the entire game. There is no way in casual to do it only in certain situations.

This. ^^^ Seric is spot on. Take LOS and add 17 yards for total distance for figuring out max/safe distance to attempt a kick from. I don't think there is a way to force going for it on 4th down (with a yard to go or so) in casual. It's either FG or Punt.

In your settings for offense presets. you can leave the field goal range blank. However; you might go for it more often than kicking a long game winning try. It works well in the beginner leagues, ( Rookie, Univ.) Not sure what would happen in the higher leagues. Try a few scrims and see what happens I guess.
