as far as that has gone for us so far, we've been lucky
every season we've been in the toughest conference in the toughest league of our age, so no cheapskates win anything
however, this makes it much tougher to win gold- in any other league of our age level, we'd have won gold every time
but against this competition, even the silver i think is a very good season

I agree...That is why I think it irritates me more, when the same 2-3 teams constantly reset in rookie to win easy trophies since they boost, as opposed to playing peewee. Those teams know they'd have no shot at winning anything in peewee...It's quite sad they're that desperate. I know it's lolrookie but still.

Yeah but i have seen non boosted teams beat boosted ones. When i was part of league underground there was a team who consistently beat boosted teams for the league gold

In Rookie? Same 2 rookie teams have won gold the last 10 seasons between the 2 of them, if not longer.

So I'd imagine you're talking about years and years ago

yeah, hence why I said league underground LOL It's not recent but it can be done (more so in the regular leagues than in casual).

I don't even know what league underground is...Just assumed it was a network...Not saying it's impossible, because I've seen it too...back like 40 seasons ago

League underground was a group of owners who would hold their own schedule through scrimmages. No boosting and no CE. I think they required casual tactics (there were a couple of them. I was part of the one based off of NFL teams), don't remember. Some cared about the regular league schedule, others didn't. Had a team win back to back gold in rookie and the next season. LU would go like 3 or 4 seasons before resetting back to rookie and start fresh. I don't think I've seen a casual team do it, but the regular league teams can due to being able to use advanced tactics which, if done right and good, can make up some of the difference between levels more effectively than in casual.

As for the teams that refuse to move to pee wee though they constantly reset every season. if they only care about rookie gold, then they are pathetic. I agree they do it because they know they can't compete in pee wee when the field is level. However, nothing we can do to change it.

Hell, I been playing since last year's NFL play-offs just to see what the players can do when finished which won't be
until this season's play-offs (hopefully Browns make it lol and the fact i can even say that after 5 weeks is an accomplishment-
considering wtf we been through here, but i digress) and then and only then will i have the satisfaction of seeing
the final product. These people seem to be missing the whole point of the game...
its like eating all the bread at olive garden and then you never even get to eating the food you ordered in the first damn place

To be fair, the breadsticks at Olive Garden are on fleek.

Is that what the kids say now? Fleek? I can't keep track of this shit anymore.

I know some people who go only for the breadsticks. So yeah. But I get your point and agree. But some people only care about stupid things like dominating Rookie.

I didn't get this first until I reread it, but now I understand. I don't build a lot of long-term dots but to my knowledge, the builds are more geared towards better investment in the future. Thus the people who beat down the Rookie teams are beating up on teams because they are investing in the now rather than the later.

It makes sense they wouldn't play in PW where the dots are indeed built for now and not later. Pee Wee Gold is always locked down by Fighting Gamecocks and All Pro Falcons save for the few seasons someone else can get by them. The traditional teams there would wax anyone (soundly at that) who don't know what they're doing.

Though I'm shocked they aren't trying for the other two easier leagues that aren't Gold. It's usually just me and a couple of other team owners and is relatively lax. I suppose it's "better" to be in Rookie where the advantage is guaranteed than to roll the dice in Peewee.

And I'd never overdose on Olive Garden breadsticks before my meal came. But Red Lobster cheddar biscuits.....
