Regional Minor Elite #1- When the going gets tough, the tough get tougher!

Game of the Week: Paris Bull Dawgs (18) v. Yukon Huskies (14): The Paris Bull Dawgs special teams coordinator, Cruzin, worked overtime and late into the night to incorporate four new players into his special teams units. Cruzin had to adopt his game plans to a new punter, a new kicker and two new gunners. Further, the Yukon Huskies have one of the most electrifying returners in the game, (WR) Huskie Returner. As the National Anthem played on game day, Crusin stood and faced the flag, but his mind was still racing as he thought through all of the special teams plays his units had worked on this week. "Oh well", he thought "maybe special teams won't be a factor in this game". Boy was Cruzin wrong. Special teams points were the only points scored by either team. Cruzin's field goal unit scored all 18 points of offense for the Bull Dawgs. But, Cruzin's Punt Coverage unit was victimized twice for punt return touchdowns by (WR) Huskie Returner.

Offensive Player of the Week: (OT) Matt Farniok Rafiki - owned by husker4life: In honor of my son, the starting Center for his High School team, getting their first win of the season on Friday night, I am giving some love to the offensive lineman DOTS and picking one of them for the Offensive Player of the Week. The Nebraska Blackshirts dominated the line of scrimmage as they beat the Black Parrott M.M by a 29-0 margin. (OT) Matt Farniok Rafiki is brutal, nasty and mighty unkind. In today's game,(OT) Matt Farniok Rafiki knocked the hell out of Black Parrot defenders and made 18 pancake blocks.

Defensive Player of the Week: (DT) Jayden Thomas -owned by bamastrac: Ask my psychiatrist how good bamastrac's defense is. She is getting tired of hearing my obsessive rants about the American Muscle defense and how they held my old Universal Studios Monsters team to a measly 7 points of offense in the first round of the playoffs last season. It appears that bamastrac has his players tuned up to a feverish pitch this season. (DT) Jayden Thomas made 6 tackles today and also made the opposing quarterback's day miserable as he hurried him 6 times and sacked him 4 times.

Special Teams Player of the Week: (K) The Last Warning - owned by Anax42: When a kicker makes all six of his field goal attempts and his team wins the game 18-14, it makes it easy to identify that kicker as the Special Teams player of the week.

Game of the Week: Yukon Huskies (23) v. All The Kings Men (21): This game was close and it felt like All The Kings Men was only one big play away from taking the lead all game long. Late in the 4th quarter, All The Kings Men was driving the ball and seemed likely to get an opportunity to kick a winning field goal when this 4th down stop sealed the win for the Yukon Huskies:

Offensive Player of the Week: (QB) The Agency QB - owned by Ace: Guess who is back in the Elite league this season? Ace has been grooming his young Dot, (QB) The Agency QB, for greatness for the past three seasons. Now, this season, the rest of the league is going to be witness to his considerable talents. In today's match up with the Paris Bull Dawgs, (QB) The Agency QB torched bobleck's defense for 280 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week: (CB) Cam Taylor Rafiki -owned by husker4life: How in the hell does a team hold the mighty VOLGOGRAD BLACK ARMY to 3 points of offense? The Nebraska Blackshirts seem to have the answer. Today, the amazing (CB) Cam Taylor Rafiki successfully defended both passes in which he was targeted. He also made 3 tackles including a tackle for loss. But perhaps most impressively, (CB) Cam Taylor Rafiki absolutely terrorized the BLACK ARMY quarterback, Gunslinger, with two sacks and an additional hurry.

Special Teams Player of the Week: (CB) Fly Johnson - owned by ghozu: Two second half punt return touchdowns by (CB) Fly Johnson sealed the victory for Black Parrot M.M,
