Trying to remember how team buying works.

I want to build a roster full of players for the next season. I would build those dots on day 40 or so from what I remember.

Now for the team. Do I buy a rookie league team that can sign my dots when the season rolls Over? Can I buy that team now or do I wait until the season rolls over?

Any benefit for buying a CPU team now in a rookie league? Could the team be promoted to a higher league before I have a chance to sign my new dots for next season?
Thanks.

If you want a Rookie team for Season 69, you can either wait until team movements finish by Day 42, or you can buy a CPU team at any tier right now and use the Reset option on your team page to request a demotion to Rookie, which will happen at the end of Season 68. I opted for the latter: I bought a CPU team, signed a few temporary human dots, and then used the rest of the season to test my AIs and playbooks and familiarize myself with everything again. After Day 40, we'll reset to stay in Rookie, and everyone who has pledged a dot in my TLFP thread will build Rookie dots and join my team, and we'll be ready to rock for Season 69.

Welcome back to the game! Seems like quite a few people are coming back all of a sudden.

Lol Comet Elenin dropped me back on earth after the remnants passed through the inner solar system again. Thanks for the welcome back FootballJunkie!

I loved that Comet. That was a lot of fun.

Take it easy brother.
