i checked every single fucking place before the season started and no where did it say that. if it did, i'd have planned differently

and clearly you didn't...Why didn't you ask some of your agents? You have some agents and GM's that know a thing or 2 about this game. You are getting way to worked up over 1 fucking little thing. The fact that you are THIS upset, seems like you're the one without a life. There are plenty of seasons ahead, and as of RIGHT NOW, you still have a shot to win this...You shouldn't be using premium promo's against other conference teams anyways imo...Shouldn't even be a thought, unless you are desperate. The fact you used one half way through the season against an undefeated team NOT in your conference is silly. Only person you should be mad at is yourself imo

Darncat, yes it does. I already told you where to find it.

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team_promotions.pl?team_id=359

Next to the section title "Individual Home Game Promotions" is a yellow question mark box. Hover over it, and you get an info box which gives you info on premium promotions and also states that you can only use 2 per season.

It's on the Promotions tab. Hover over the yellow question mark boxes and you'll see it. In fact, hovering over that box is how I first learned myself that you can only do two premium promotions per season... after trying myself to schedule 3 and wondering why I couldn't.

See, that's the difference between you and me, Darncat. When you ran into something you didn't have an explanation for, you immediately blamed Bort. When I ran into something I didn't have an explanation for, I held my tongue and went looking for the explanation -- and found it. That's why you now have an entire thread full of people calling you an idiot, while I... well... I've had a few threads full of people calling me an idiot, I suppose, but not THIS thread.

Please stop this. The info is on the Promotions tab, and it's not hard to find. At all.

The losers here who have nothing better to do w/ their lives than search through reams of obsolete shit and want to
talk smack for those who have better things to do w/ their lives, good fucking riddance: real life doesn't need your
stupid worthless asses anyhow. For those people who have lives and actual demands upon their time, they
will understand exactly what i am saying.

"and are limited to two premium promotions per season" is straight from the wiki link that i posted.

I missed this before.

When I started playing this game, I was working 3 jobs, 70 hours a week. At the moment, I'm working 2 jobs, 60 hours a week, plus taking care of 3 kids. So, I have a life and actual demands upon my time. And I agree with you to a point: burying basic-yet-valuable information in the Wiki is not a good way to run a game.

However, that's not what Bort did here. The info is on the Promotions tab itself, pretty easy to find. In this case, Bort put the information you need right on the screen where you'd need it. If I could find it there 50 seasons ago, you can find it now. If you didn't find it, it's because your idea of "I looked EVERYWHERE" is laughably inaccurate, because you didn't look everywhere. Quite frankly, it makes you sound like my kids when they claim they can't find their shoes and they looked EVERYWHERE, and then I find their shoes within 10 seconds of looking.

Don't tell me the only reason I found this information is because I have no life, no demands on my time, and nothing better to do with my time. That is laughably incorrect.

(Good grief, I'm starting to empathize with how jdbolick must've felt back in the day. Yikes.)

it took me about 15 seconds to find it on wiki, and my computer is pretty slow these days. i suppose it might be clearer if the "Team Promotions And Bonuses" section had been left out and that info only been put under the sub categories, since the only available for home games info was repeated. but still, the whole page takes less than a minute to read.

I should just leave this thread alone. Between work, my family, and trying to pull together my new GLB team, I have so many better things to do with my time than argue in this thread. But dammit, I always had fun arguing in the forums back in the day, and the siren call is hard to resist.

As a wise man once said, "The forums ARE the game."

No one should have to search through reams of fucking information to find something so basic and obvious
that it can be easily put right fucking next to the damn place where you actually use it. For that matter if it can't be

I get that you're frustrated with the situation, especially since your team lost game 16 and ended up as the 3-seed because of it, but you definitely need to learn how to do your homework in this game. If you don't, you end up doing something like this thread, and the peanut gallery here will not be kind in gleefully pointing out your errors.
