PALM BAY PALOOKAS

Hey everybody! After a 29-season hiatus, everyone's second-favorite all-running team is returning to GLB for Season 69: the Palm Bay Palookas!
Last time around, we made it all the way to World League using nothing but running plays and screen plays, winning a few loltrophies on the way up and having a ton of fun. I'll be running the offense and other team maintenance myself just like before, and our previous Defensive Coordinator, xxflip, is returning to re-install his excellent defensive system.
I'm committing to building 3 blocking WRs and 1 of our 2 rushing QBs myself, and xxflip will be using his 4 free player slots as well. That leaves 47 slots to fill, and we'd love you to be part of this. If you're ready to commit to building some dots for us for Season 69, please post in this thread and I'll send you an invite to our private forum.
GO BLACK AND BLUE!!!

Extra info...
I should mention, we'll be rolling with a handful of Special Teams Only Players, and my preference for them is to use OTs set to the ST Archetype and built to force fumbles. (OTs work fine with a build-cost of 100, but I certainly won't complain if you build a STOP-dot for 200 that's an LB, CB, SS or FS.) We did that with the last version of the Palookas, and it worked out fairly well for us. And it also means the rest of our players will see very limited duty on Special Teams and will be able to preserve their energy for O or for D.
I should also mention, we definitely prefer boosted players. Hard to be picky on dots right now given the current status of the userbase, but we do prefer winning to losing, and winning is a lot easier with boosted dots.
And finally, even if we don't have 55 dots pledged by Day 40, I'm going forward with the team anyway, and I'll keep working to recruit to fill the vacancies. And xxflip and I will gameplan for all potentially-competitive games, so we'll always be playing at our best and giving you something meaningful to watch as we work our way up. We have to play the lower levels first before we can get to Natty Pro and World League... might as well enjoy the trip, right?
