Building FS dots back in the early days was really fun. It was a unique challenge to make an impact with them because of how hard it was to get ints. I'm thinking about playing GLB again... is it still good? I have a million flex lol


The legendary Ed Reed! Don't worry, I'm pretty sure your #1 ranking is safe...unless Glossy stays active until around 2050.I'm pretty sure Glossy was #10 on the All-Time FS list when he was "done" with his real career. But looks like every 20 seasons or so he has a chance to bump up a spot since he's now at #8. Watch out!

Yeah I think a long long time ago myself and the team owner PM'd support to just keep him on the team until one of us said otherwise.

I have a bad feeling this fun announcement is going to turn in to Glossy getting banished with people complaining and/or making requests to support to let their old, unretired DOTs be added back to teams. I hope not, but if so, I guess the silver lining is I'll be able to stop logging in, say my goodbyes to my illegitimate child, and move on with my life.

For the record, anyone worried that I somehow unveiled a secret "fountain of youth" strategy that will have Glossy back to upper-level relevance...it's not. While the Player Value, Effective Level, and lol bars look like he's making a comeback, the actual attributes are ridiculously low (in the low 30s for attributes I've trained to 100, lol.) due to full decline always being applied. Every time I train up an atty a point, it applies like 0.25 points to it in reality. So yeah, please leave Glossy alone and let me have my fun, he's not gonna ruin the game for at least the next 75 years irl.

That is weird...was he retired and then allowed to be reinstated umpteen seasons later? That would be weird if so. For the record, Glossy never retired, which is how he just keeps playing on into his golden years.
