I'm not much for saving my dots. Never wanted to. But I perfectly remember my first dot... it was a FS because that's what I played and I knew what it took to play the position. Then, not knowing a damn thing about dot building in the crazy game I spread out my SP's and spent them like crazy the moment I got any so the dot was sh*t by the time it hit level 50 and I recycled it.

My 1st dot sucked by the time it hit plateau as I did what Theo did and just had to spread out those sk pts. Gave up 4 sacks in the first playoff game.

I learned as I went along from reading forums, asking people, ubasstards helped me out, along with playing and having dots on teams with the likes of P.B., Jsully75, csull36 and others.

at least I figured out very early on that Speed was crucial to blocking FBs

I wonder if the 1st good dot was Flames' super-fast by the standard of the day dots. Created a lot of noise at the time. The build process has changed a bit since then since the training system an other aspects of building changed a few times since then.
