It would be nice to know what the tie breaking formula is.

Unless something's changed while I've been away from the game, the first tie-breaker is head-to-head record, and the second tie-breaker is points allowed. It used to be points scored, but that encouraged teams to run up the score in otherwise-meaningless games against CPU-owned teams, so Bort switched it to points allowed in order to make sure games against CPU opponents weren't settling playoff seeding.
EDIT: Ah, I just noticed it was a 3-way tie. In that case, it's... um... dammit, I used to know this. Hmm...

For those too lazy to click...
http://wiki.goallineblitz.com/index.php/Playoff_Seeding_and_Tiebreakers
When two or more teams have the same regular season record, seeding comes down to the following tiebreakers.
If there are only 2 teams tied (same record), higher seed is the winner of the head-to-head match up.
If there are more than 2 teams tied (same record), then it's based upon these factor in this order:
1.) Number of head-to-head wins against the other tied teams with the same record.
2.) Number of total points allowed.
3.) Number of total points scored.
Cherokee, Nomad and Oakland all finished 9-7, and each of them split their head-to-head games with each other, so it went to points-allowed: Cherokee (317), then Nomad (395), then Oakland (434).

I wonder if the 1 and 3 seeds will play each other this playoffs. It's really a crapshoot vs what works and what doesn't. The tie breakers have been broken since leagues went to 6 teams. Not saying the results should be different now but it doesn't seem to consider the 2 games a season.

Seeds look fine this season

lmao, that's my guard, so now if my guard gets the hardware what will it be, break tackle chance, not fumble chance, a + speed attr????
I wouldn't even know if you didn't post here when I did look at the mvp lists i only went to see where my cb ended up at as he just broke the top 10 at #9

yeah, i don't even know what none returners get. i know it's happened in the past in the lower levels, but never looked to see what eq they get. it's usually related to the position of the player, so i'd guess maybe +2 strength, and +1 pancake or maybe the full SA line. maybe even hold block 10%.

ya but my guard might not even get the hardware, really doesn't matter to me though
