Hi,

I was off from glb for a long time (8 years) earlier I had a team and everything. Need help now. Thx:

1, But now I don't recall it right when is the best to create a new player? (probably at the new season day minus whatever is that before the xps giveout starts). Or the end of the season maybe...?

2, When to use the boost? I have 3 boosts. If I am right I did always keep it till playoff to be the best there. But with a brand new player is it worth to level up quickly, or just get most off the XPS and same way boost end off the season. Or playoff...?

3, If I wanna grow good should I choose CPU or real owner at LVL 1?

4, How much can a player level up in a season nowadays? So if I start at the right time, (when is it) and how many levels I will finish at the end of the season.

5, Is it worth to not use the boost and off the first years to keep it till the end of the year when I might be able to get a spot in a real human team? Or when I should join to a human team?

6, So any advice, which can help me to build a good speedy WR would be appreciated. I plan to make another player for the new season also. Which hight/weight and other things are the best to choose for the speedster WR at the time when I start to build it up and create it. At the player day 1?

7, Training intense or ... would be the best way to start? When will my player able to train multiple attributes?

8. Tactics to use as speedster WR at games at low level LVL 1. Before going to a real team?

Thanks.

Welcome back. Not much has changed in 8 years (believe it or not) but here's some links you'll need to check out between now and when you build your dot(s).

#1, Softcaps; http://wiki.goallineblitz.com/index.php/Ability_Softcaps

#2, Accelerated Player Development (or, the great Catch22 guide).

#3. Theo's portable links to building helps and tips.

#4. Just a tidbit about VA's, but a fairly good one.

#5. Training hotspots, graphs, and numbers for planing your build from beginning to end. Also contains several good links for dot building thoughts.

#6. Level 68 boosting question answered. http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=5230471

#7. Link to thread that contains several high quality and useful scripts as well as a working VPB script. http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=5245345

Now to answer some of your querys;

1, any time between day 42 and day 48 after the end of the (regular season/playoffs).

2, There's a lot of different boosting guides available out there. Perhaps someone would be sweet enough to post a link here besides the one I gave (see #6).

3. Real owner. A CPU team will use your dot any which way it seems fit and not always as you either built it or as you want it used. A human owned team (usually) will not only have build guides but people you can ask questions of when needed. Oh, and Coaches who will likely use your dot properly.

4. That question will be mostly covered with the build guide(s) you find. Season #1 I think it's LVL 18.

5. Slow building isn't much done anymore but some still use the tactic. However... very important... if you do NOT boost early (as most do) when building your dot from the start, then you cannot MISS any boosts from that point on. The way it's (dot building) is structured is they allowed for someone to accidentally miss their boosts (in a season) and still end up with a dot that's equal once it hits plateau. Thing is, this 'catch up system' is based off the dot's AGE... so if you purposely miss your Early Boosts then that counts against you as your 'missed boosts'. Also, most build guides are based on Early Boosting.

6. While the guides will cover this, mostly you'll pour all effort (SP's, BT's, Training) into Speed very early... setting a target number to reach as fast as possible to take advantage of ALG's.

7. Mostly you'll start with Intense training until you have enough BT's to unlock Multi-training AND until you hit the skill # either you or your build guide you chose is attained. Again, most all build guides tell you when to make the switches.

8. Tactics will vary as your dot grows and, depending on your coach's preferences (most all of them will say the same things though). For early tactics, Play hard, route as it's supposed to be (no add-libbing), wrap up tackle, that kind of stuff.

Hope I helped.

Thanks. So if I am wanting to build up a speedster wr. Than first just use all points to speed. Till like how long. Than start to work on agility till how long. Tnan how much of catch number should i have? Thx. I did try to read reviews.

But did not find a complex where to put and how much point on players attribute. Thx. Or if you have this guidline can you resend it. Cuz I tried to read them, but maybe I did miss it out. Thanks.

Thanks Blackrock. I'm not the best or smartest agent in the game but anything to help out when I can helps keep the lights on just a little longer, I hope.

Helped might be a bit of an overstatement. Slightly senile but his heart is in the right place.

this is just 2 cents.. but.. and...
if you are creating a SPDrec, even though CATch pts are premier, do NOT.. NOT.. work on building your CATch atty first..
SPD is your #1 atty.
I experimented and it doesnt work. Laugh and point at me at will lolz, but I tried it and its pure dud. You end up with Danny Woodhead lining up on LOS and finding QB progression once a game.
