Coventry Owls vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders = Owls based on the results of the first meeting get the win.

Warsaw Gods of War vs. Brazilian Island Gurupies = Gurupies get an easy win over the Gods of War.

New Jersey Scallywags vs. PVAC Gofers = A tough game and I'll take the Scallywags.

Sea Wasps - Army vs. Houston Roughnecks = Sea Wasps get the nod over the Roughnecks.

Barcelona Conquistadors vs. Houston Gamblers = Gamblers winners over the Conquistadors.

Castile Knights vs. Holland Pinoy All Stars = All Stars rout the Knights.

Week Fourteen Results:

Coventry Owls vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders 66-35 = Owls win the shootout game with the Red Raiders.

Warsaw Gods of War vs. Brazilian Island Gurupies 0-29 = A win for the Gurupies but not so much a rout.

New Jersey Scallywags vs. PVAC Gofers 19-16 = Another close loss for the Gofers - I've never seen the like of it for any team.

Sea Wasps - Army vs. Houston Roughnecks 20-10 = Wasps win over the Roughnecks and here is another team much better than their record.

Barcelona Conquistadors vs. Houston Gamblers 19-6 = Best game this season from the Conquistadors, they are for real.,

Castile Knights vs. Holland Pinoy All Stars 0-209 = Rout by the All Stars over the Knights.

Record this week: 5 wins and 1 loss, On the Season 71 wins and 13 losses

Week Fifteen Picks: LOTS of tough games to call this week

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Brazilian Island Gurupies = I'll go with the Red Raiders but it is close.

PVAC Gofers vs. Coventry Owls = I'll give the nod to the Owls but watch out.

New Jersey Scallywags vs. Warsaw Gods of War = No problem here as the Scallywags get the easy win.

Castile Knights vs. Sea Wasps - Army = Rout of the week for the Sea Wasps.

Houston Gamblers vs. Houston Roughnecks = I'll go with the Gamblers but the Roughnecks give everyone the jitters.

Holland Pinoy All Stars vs. Barcelona Conquistadors = All Stars are the pick but tread lightly here as well.

There is always the chance that the RNG, which has been bending the Gofers over the salad bar all year, will swing back the other way and even things out.

Week Fifteen Results:

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Brazilian Island Gurupies 13-9 = As predicted it doesn't get much closer than this

PVAC Gofers vs. Coventry Owls 14-51 = Owls played a solid game at the right time.

New Jersey Scallywags vs. Warsaw Gods of War 111-0 = Too much Scallywags for the Gods of War.

Castile Knights vs. Sea Wasps - Army 0-171 = Sea Wasps get their rout over the Knights.

Houston Gamblers vs. Houston Roughnecks 10-17 = This is what I was expecting - someone would get upset this week.

Holland Pinoy All Stars vs. Barcelona Conquistadors 44-10 = All Stars win solid over the Conquistadors.

Record this week: 5 wins and 1 loss, On the Season: 76 wins and 14 losses

Really needed this win because of the big final game next week against the Sea Wasps!
I was on pins and needles on this one because Barcelona upended the Gamblers last week and we lost to them the previous week.

Next week has several games with direct playoff implications - gonna be real exciting to see The Conquistadors play the Roughnecks with one game between them favoring the Conquistadors but likely winner gets the 4th spot and loser is out. Playoff position is at stake in every matchup so the teams facing the weakest teams have the best chance at winning position. The playoffs will be very competitive - they always are

That Barcelona vs Houston game is going to be awesome. The guys on both team are very competitive so expect a top notch match!

Anyone know when the playoffs will start?
Hopefully it is after next week because I might not be able to do anything since I will be in Toronto from 3rd to 6th of July.

Well, going to miss the playoffs. Hopefully we'll be lucky in the first round.

I missed my picks this morning So here are the results:

PVAC Gofers vs. Warsaw Gods of War 67-0 = l would have picked this one - Gofers win big

Brazilian Island Gurupies vs. Coventry Owls 19-14 = I wouldn't have picked this upset but I wouldn't have been shocked either

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. New Jersey Scallywags 17-24 = Missed this one too - I'm already at two sure losses for the week.

Houston Gamblers vs. Castile Knights 176-0 = Easy pick here for sure,

Holland Pinoy All Stars vs. Sea Wasps - Army 24-27 = I would have picked this because the Wasps have been hot.

Houston Roughnecks vs. Barcelona Conquistadors 23-17 = I'm not sure - might have called this a toss up

Today is pack and move day. I’ll be on the road the next 4-6 days. Hopefully I can either win a playoff game or the tourney game. Either way, it’s been a fun season. Really looking forward to reg pro with everyone having such good looking dots. Sucks we will all be split up in pro cuz I haven’t enjoyed the minors this much in a while. Also can’t wait to not have to run an offence anymore.

Great job on the weekly picks lhass (you guru). Going to be on vaca myself for the playoffs. Not sure how much time I'll get to adjust for them either. Great season all, and good luck in the playoffs, unless you are playing the Wasps!
