I'm from the season 1 days and played for a few years. I came back briefly 3-4 years ago but it wasn't keeping my interest. Is it worth coming back and playing now? I've got almost 40,000 flex points. I'd like to buy a team but really have no clue what it would even take at this point in the game.

I'd say it's worth coming back just to spend your flex. I wouldn't buy anymore though.

40,000 will keep you going for a while as long as you don't go crazy!

My question is if you came back 3-4 years ago and the game wasn't keeping your interest what makes it that it would now? Nothing changed in the game since then.
As Rocdog said it be worth it to come back to spend your flex but thats about it.
If I was doing it though and was planning on playing for a while I would buy the pop warner flex package for $2.50 that would put you in a premium status and gives you another free dot to play with.

It's weird, I feel like there are more and more people popping up and asking if it is worth coming back. If everyone came back who considered it, the game might actually become a little more vibrant.

And if there was any resurgence in interest from the developers, it could really do a lot to pull people back in, in that it would help out the morale of the community who is still here, and create some more interest and excitement. But this is obviously a dead issue.

But, as it is, I wouldn't say that it's not worth it, given that something has brought these people back after being gone for a few years...essentially, they missed the game.

If what they missed was the camaraderie, the forums, the banter, etc., then there is no use to coming back. That part of the game is dead, almost certainly forever.

if they missed the literal building of players and competing, then welcome back! For better or for worse, it's the same, and it's not changing. the competition gets gradually easier as some of the better players slowly leave, but A) that isn't an issue for people just coming back in, and B) there's still a really strong top tier of old-time vets.

But yeah, it's all kind of interesting, in a sad sort of way. The game obviously really struck a chord with a lot of people, to still be drawing people back in, years and years later.

If you're playing for the endgame, level 79, fully boosted, custom equipment, you will need to invest 14 months of your life doing it. At the very least checking in every couple of days to avoid going "inactive" especially if you are on a cpu team. But honestly, we dont really even know if 14 months from now, hardware wise, that this game will even have a heartbeat anymore.

Bort hasnt even posted anything on his twitter account about new developments of any of the warrior general game since november or something... We need some proof of life, like a picture of bort holding a newspaper with todays date on it, right now who knows. My main concern is wondering if the literal server will be running long enough to finish up.

I came back after 5 years, going on my 2nd Season back. You loved this game once before. Mostly for me, it was time that pushed me away. I always had over 100 players at a time. Accelerated growth is what pushed me out. I came back, and for now my intent is to stay. I was even considering buying more Flex to start a farm team for my team in Season 69.

Maybe there are no new developments to be made? Are any of the other games still in Beta?
