Has there ever been official information about what a sunsetting of this game would look like?

Have they ever stated that X time/seasons notice would be given?
If Y condition is met they will be closing the game abruptly.

It seems like the general tone is people expect the game to just be shut down one day. Is there really this much uncertainty in the game. I suspect this level of uncertainty would drive down spending.

Season 70 has already been confirmed as the final season as per bort’s mighty brawlers twitter account. All three games will be shut down and he’s going to start working on GLB 3.

go on his mighty brawlers twitter. so use your flex while you can. glb3 won't be ready for beta until feb 2020 apparently. maybe glb1 users can get into alpha or something.

I am not on twitter and a quick google search of might brawlers brings me information that is 5 years old. GLB twitter is 5 years old too. Not sure where you are getting your data. My guess right now is there is no tweet, or you would just link it.

PK being silly

The reality of it is my guess is they will just let it run until the last user logs in...I mean they stated they were not changing anything, it's costing them only hosting fees, and with the low amount of traffic in the game now the hosting fees probably are a lot less....so might as well just leave it up, I'm sure they still get flex purchases....
