That sucks, because you can't even send in a ticket. Some things can be manipulated by Admin in this game and some can't. That is one of them.

It's weird that all these little glitches are popping up for stuff that has been set in the code for a long time and hasn't been touched. I'm no coder for sure, but I thought once the coding in a program was done, the glitches stopped? Now I know before a code is complete, some changes and tweaks have negative effects on other parts of code that have to be identified then fixed(or patched) but I always thought once the coding was completed that was it.

I'd be interested in a quick education from anyone here who does coding about my incorrect assumptions.

I wouldn't say your assumptions are incorrect. Code runs for many years with unintended 'glitches' and hiccups. but to address your remark about 'glitches stopped'. it is a common assumption with users. granted the users are very good at using the code and many times we as coders don't expect to hear ways in which a user will find they can use the code. I"m not suggesting the OP did something to cause it. But there was a situation that was created (unique situation) that causes a piece of logic to do exactly what the coder meant it to do. problem is: when some other condition arises this 'glitch' will run with undesired results.
Usually it's in the original code and what I call a 5/90 problem...5% condition that takes 90% of the time to find. Considering how much code has gone into this...this may not be a rabbit they want to chase.

It is why folks who don't code for a living call us 'detail-oriented'. it takes time and empirical data to fix these 5/90s. Bort et.al., may not have time to run this down and many times it is a conscious decision to ignore it OR they don't have enough past info to replicate the situation on a test server. But it probably is on their bug list..

I say all these things with utter deference to your perspective. So not an ounce of critique or negativity is meant towards you or your remarks. also, I'm not here to hijack the thread.

The fact is only one player took the hit. I swapped the players. How does one get screwed and the other doesn’t? At least it wasn’t the CB or whatever that missed out even though he’ll probably get retired soon too

Harambe played their game 6 on Day 11 -
S63D11: Kathmandu Mountaineers vs Harambe's Guerrilla Warfare; shows they played on day 11

Game 6 for the Red Raiders was on S63D12.
S63D12: College Station Aggies vs Texas Tech Red Raiders

Since game 6 for Harambe had already passed, and Ezell did not appear in the Box score for TRR's game 6, he may have been taken out of the lineup in preparation for the trade.

And notice that Dillan played two game 6s.

my guess is support will call it a DC issue and UE (user error) and the crap every user hates hearing "hope this helps". Ezell was taken off one DC and could not play in game 6 of Harambe's game because it was already done.
Which they can confirm that piece of information.

The links help...I too would send in a ticket if you believe you had Ezell in TRRs offense DC before the trade. Harambe's game 6 was already gone. if Ezell was out of the lineup for Texas's game 6...then that's the reason. like you said he missed a game.

you can ask Support to confirm the time of the trade, the first time Ezell was taken out of TRRs DC. Game 6 for Harambe was a day before Texas's game 6. The trade time could still be in the audits/logs. the time he was taken out of the DC for Texas most likely is not in any logs. but you could still ask.

No... but the timing of the player's arrival (on his new team) along with the internal game-clock that locks you out of making changes just before a game (I think it's one hour but I could be wrong... it's been a long time since I last tried to beat the clock)... I believe it also effects your dot getting XP as well. Realize, even though it's happened to me several times, I'm merely making an educated guess based on just a collection of knowledge from years of playing. I really don't know for sure if this is the case but it's the best theory I have. Perhaps a Bug Mod has seen this issue before and knows the answer (or has a better theory than I do)... or maybe even an Admin knows the problem and would kindly post here what we can do to avoid it happening (timing our trades and such stuff... hint-hint )
