There is, but I think it only goes back 90 days.

Click on "search" then "forum user search"

Thanks, looks like I cannot search the really old stuff; much like you stated.

If you know some key words from the post.... and it was in one of the public GLB forums, maybe try google? I thought that was part of the reason they decided to make some of the forums public to generate google hits.
