Just watched that movie again recently. So bad but somehow so good.

I'm convinced it was the tires I burned, we haven't had a blizzard warning since, even touched triple digit temps and my winter skin burned so bad it blistered a few days later.

Its as if there was a natural cycle and it has been disrupted by some unknown force in recent times. Interesting.

There might be something to this Mex, had 5 April blizzards, for the first time ever, I was unable to get the first crop of hay made, had it cut and it proceeded to rain 6" over the following 9 days and the hay got muddy and moldy and I had to chop it and blow it back in the field. We know have a breeding pack of wolves in the vicinity and there have been several dozen black bear sightings. The world is messed up.

I must be old, for i remember springtime- I was born during it,
but I don't know if I've seen one for 10-15 years. Summer hasn't hardly begun here in june,
its fairly bloody annoying

but don't worry: wealthy people will get temperature resistant cyborg bodies that don't require food, so problem solved

2018 has sucked. 16" of rain in June, another 5" in July already and to add insult to injury, the folks upstream from me had over 12" early Monday morning that produced record river flood levels locally. 80% of my pasture is under dirty flood water. Dayton declared an emergency in 36 Minnesota counties.

Send it to California. They could use some rain (along with Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho.... )

"Global warming" is a bad term.

Let's go forward with the name 'Global Pollution Epidemic'

And realize the ramifications are a slow rising of average temperatures, the polarizing of summer/winter cycles with much more aggressive storms between them, and a general rise in the number of hurricanes per season.

I would if I could.

I also need a new weather app, checked the 7 day forecast and there was a slight chance of rain on Thursday so I cut one field of alfalfa yesterday and we had a surprise 1.5" of rain over night. I did manage to get some grass hay baled over the weekend but I have all the cows back in the winter yards and am feeding them.

With the crop damage, increases in operating costs with having to feed cattle, losing the entire first crop of alfalfa, I'm projecting a 6 figure loss in the farm operation this year. I hope my banker has a sense of humor.

Not really (your take on Hurricanes)... however, the one's that DO happen tend to be stronger, much wetter (rainfall) and more damaging with storm surge because of rising ocean levels.

Your point is probably more factually correct, but around 1900 we were seeing 5-10 tropical storms/hurricanes annually and now it's more like 15-20, though a part of that could be improving technology to track the storms.

Edit: in the atlantic I should say.
