season 2 - 3 were the most fun seasons, getting together with the team Mike Rogers ran (RIP homie) and watching the pbp script and chatting through instant messeger was so fun

The owner of GLB has hit a certain level of 'critical mass' where he either makes enough money to be comfortable or the ROI of making upgrades doesn't justify the labor/effort.

This was a GREAT game, but it's only the original now and not necessarily the best.

He probably created such a monster in terms of coding that any changes require a massive amount of effort and it is just never going to happen.

It's been 10 years for me, but I still check in and train my players and look for tweaks. But I'll never spend hours a day scouting and planning like I once did, because some of the exploits are still obvious and will never be fixed no matter how snarky and pissy the users get.

What exploits are we talking about? You mean running the ball up the middle 60+ times without fumbling the ball?

Some guys gave up on this game, others didn't. If someone expects big changes to come, I can honestly say that this ship has sailed a long time ago. Hell, who thought that guys would miss those great beta days when the game was still unpredictable and those 'wtf' moments decided championship games.
The main issue is and still will remain the amount of time you need to invest to get your dots to the Pro level. And when the debate came up to speed-up building processes and maybe cutting short some of those minor age classes in earlier seasons, all those minor fanboys went berserk in the forums that minors are enjoyable to watch and such and such...
For me, I still do it for the agents who were loyal to me from the beginning up until now. Else, if I were a solo team builder, I would have left this game many seasons ago... like foshizzel who started this thread.

Let's enjoy this game while it lasts.

Amount of time was and will always be the issue anymore going forward, just takes to long to build a dot esp for dot builders who build for plateau dots only. Hell I don't even pay attention to my dots when I build them until they get to plateau or close to it.(not that I did before after the first few years the game was out)
Pro leagues are getting to be more of a ghost town all the time and the w/l teams all have farm teams to produce dots until those owners call it quits or they just grab the best available dots on the market as the marker has dried up.
Those minor league folks who hollered about faster build times probably don't realize that the farm team owners or most of them don't even care about the minor leagues as the dots grow.
Prlly lost more agents cause of the long build process than gained.

I have read on here about it being just a run game mostly that passing sucks, not sure that bort can't just adjust some percentages around to make it more balance but as with the state of the game it isn't going to happen since there is no more updates to the game.

Realistic it is hard to justify spending any more money on the game, I am not complaining as I had a blast playing the game thru the peak days just like everyone else but those days are gone now.
I might be persuaded to buy some more flex if the game changes like insta-dots, be a new thing building from scratch up trying to figure out where and how to build a dot at one time from the ground up,

BORT, GIVE US INSTA-DOTS
