I have not played in like 8 years so I don't know what has changed. How much does it cost to take one player from begging to end career. Does anyone have a breakdown of cost?
Or over a thousand dollars. Is that correct? Even if you cut the gear on the K/P and backups you are with limited boosting of some backups and k/p you are still over a grand.
I would have thought he would have lowered the cost by now. The game was not never going to support teams that were not based on friends. It always seemed like it made more sense to make it so 3-6 friends could get together and build a team. Even with that it is $250+.
Thanks. I guess my 40k flex still couple of free players isn't shit.
What is going on in the game now? Is it pee wee leagues? Is it just a few really big spenders who run their own teams? Can people even make a team by themselves anymore or is that against the rules?
Thanks. I guess my 40k flex still couple of free players isn't shit.
That's more flex than I have. And if you buy even the smallest flex package, you get a premium status and one extra free player (one time deal). With 40k you could have nine players fully boosted and equiped.
So basically the same think I said 8 years ago. The game just costs to much for what it delivers. I still think a ten season team should cost about 250 bucks. I guess at this point there is no real chance of that ever happening. the game will probably shut down before they overhaul these prices.

Do they still have the 50% off black Friday sale?
At this point in the season you may as well only use your free players to build anyways, and that's just to get a feel for building these days. For the most part if you want to build long term and correctly, the deadline already passed. It's between Day 40-48 usually.
Not sure about 50% because I typically don't buy flex on that day like an idiot...but I do know they do have sales that day.
It's not 50% I think it's a 20% discount, and not every year. You also have to consider, that upon retirements you get to recycle 70% of the players flex on creation and boosts. Less than that on CEQ if fully upgraded.

I am not planning on doing anything now. I was just looking. I have not logged in for almost a decade and not sure what has changed. If anything I would want to OC or DC for a season just to check things out.
Right now the game seems to rich for my blood. I have a friend who has 80k flex. We would still need another 170k flex for us to make a team. I don't see the value.

The first sale was 50%. It was a very long time ago.
There are some players who have been around since the beginning and newer folks who play regularly but it is far fewer than in the past. Other than some rules changes that may have come shortly after you left, the game is the same as it always was. Just less human owned teams, and less leagues. Oh well actually the conference size and play off tier numbers are reduced as well, all to reflect the lower player population.
Pee Wee is such that my team of CPU dots is in Gold most seasons, just not many doing Pee Wee, but those who do are competing. Just against less competitors.
Reg Pro leagues seem to be mostly a question of one or two good teams per conference waiting to match up in the championship.
Nat Pro is a few more good teams.
World League, dunno. Haven't been there in a very long time. Presumably mostly good teams.
So its the same, just less of it.
And yes, I would say the price ought to lower to get demand back up. But I guess Bort figures it wouldn't go up regardless.
