Keep them as long as builds are okay.

You cannot request CPU ST dots.

CPU players play to the lowest Effective level human dot on the entire team roster. So if you have a human dot on the roster thats 79/66 and you sign a CPU player, that CPU player will play like a 66 lvl human dot even if it's listed as a CPU 72. Your roster should answer thquestion for you.

I didn't actually know that, thanks

That easily answers a question I had about this team http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster.pl?team_id=109

Yeah, one human dot in decline will ruin all the CPU dots on the team, they'll play like shit.

my team has two only 560 day old major decline Dots....sounds like my best bet is to retire both and replace with CPU Dots that will be allowed to play at a much higher level....you agree

I thought that it was the average of the human dots on the team.

I would agree with that unless their #1 atty is amazingly high to offset decline which might put them on par with a CPU dot, you can always light train and use bonus tokens to use temp bonuses... like if you had a Center with super high STR + temp bonuses, declines in other attys really don't matter that much. You can use 2 temp bonuses per game. I really wouldn't consider this tactic for any dot other than linemen and TEs where STR and BLK can be very high and supplemented with temp bonuses. The % of decline increases with the age of the dot so those 560's are going to be a mess by the end of the season, 520's are better suited for this tactic.

It may be the average effective level or the level of the lowest human dot, it's been awhile for me to pull that data out of my brain. I believe support told me that nugget. Bottom line is mixing a roster with CPUs and dots in decline is bad juju.

Last bit of advice I can give you is what CPU dots to take if you go that route. Since you cannot see anything the CPU dots bring... but you can figure that they're built roughly accordingly to their archetype, then I advise getting HHLB's for ST players. They'll be the MOST likely to bring good enough speed, strength, and tackling... and, if lucky, some ability to force the occasional fumble. Getting CB's or Safeties you chance on getting one that's weak in one of those areas... and getting DT's or DE's the same thing.
