I bought 2 Pancake pieces to save BTs and SPs (had to settle for a +3 Vision piece) and 2 Hold Block % Pieces. I'll overshoot my BT goal by a bit so I might have an extra SP or 2 to cash in. I'd go 10 in Aoi before spending the spare change in other SAs.

If this dot ends up getting a WL offer, then I'l dump the Flex into doing a +1 Tree Bonus and more HB%.

I got hosed on AEQ for this dot. Was planning on 4 AEQ but didn't hit in the store. Had to step down to 3 AEQ... I'm having to use Track Star to break the 150 Speed barrier.

For AEQ... I had to settle for 2 pieces of Juke and a Catch%. I was thinking that extra high Vision (95.8+ with Ball Hawk) would help me beat more CBs vs. Deflections and INTs.

Does 13 Juke make up for the lack of Fake%? Juke is the only fake I have anyway...

Would anyone want to sign this dot to WL? if yes, then I'll spend the flex to get 21% Catch with CEQ. If not, he's getting flushed, so I can recycle the free player slot.

builds are not WL quality (normally)

matbe one might need to fill a hole

WR has waaaaaay too much vision - points should have been spent elsewhere - speed is low for a speedster

strength is low for the blocking TE

The WR was supposed to be more of a Possession style. 105+ total Catching with 24%+ CB gear...

The Vision concept was to out-battle CBs for deflections/INTs, 83.38 + Football genius +ball hawk should have been around 105 total vision. Because of the EQ snafu, I felt like I had to do Track Star instead of FG.

The TE was supposed to be a little bit smaller and faster for sweeps and whatnot, not necessarily the 280# extra O-lineman.

O, well. Better luck next time I guess

A possession WR will still at least 90 agility. If your using a speedster arch geared towards possession arch, you 100+ natural speed as a minimum. As reddogrw pointed out, vision is way to high. Jumping is too low in this case, and as to SA's, should be shooting for 10's in Route Run and Sticky Hands. Extra SA would have been better with Fake Chance.

this was a huge "kick me" sign you taped to your crotch

There's about 20 Agents left in WL, with their multi accounts, filling out each others teams. "WL worthy" by definition, means getting a contract offer from one of those guys.

If you want to be WL worthy, you have to build the exact same dots that they would build themselves. In effect, you aren't playing the game, they are playing the game through you... you are only saving them the flex of having to build a dot themselves.

Forget WL. It's a scam.

Build the type dots you want to build. Find a group of agents you like, and build the positions that help them out. If you build enough of the same dots over and over, you'll perfect the build you want. Once it's perfected, then you'll see how well it actually performs in games. You might find that your concept doesn't work. You might find that you've re-invented the wheel that they were trying to get you to do all along. You could stumble onto some combination of attributes, skills and VAs that synergize in some unexpected way...

I recommend joining teams with agents you don't really know. Be active in those forums and see if anyone bounces that activity back at you. Back in the day, that's how networks got started. There were thousands of agents, so finding some like minded people wasn't really all that hard. Now, it's takes a huge amount of effort.

This is going to turn into a rant (if it hasn't already) so I'll cut it off here.

tl;dr play the game for yourself. If you're happy with the performance of the dot, then you're doing it right. If not, try again.

And then the dot will still not be the "perfect" build!
