Welcome to season 63, and your preseason ranks.

The conferences look pretty even this season imo. Zeta is top heavy with Indy and HHWC, Alpha could be really tough if the Jersey team emerges.

new teams will make things interesting.

HHWC is the front runner,
Jersey is the underdog,
Cherokees are the stability
benitos are the Class Clown
Hood is HOOD
The Tyrrhanians is the coolest name since The Dirty Sanchez (and the The C-Town Muthafkn Hood)
Miami is the explosive offense
DC is in the League Doghouse
nomads are the team you cant ignore
auburn is the noob
the Growl is in trouble

Gotta hand it to these guys man. last year was a tough field and they won it all, beating HHWC in the Champ game. they are good every year, usually near the top of their division, and have been in WL a long time now. I cant remember the last time they were in danger of demoting.

Miami looks like a scoring machine this year. They are always in it. Tomcic throws games though , so they'll hang around the middle

- steady as she. goes, nomads seem to win when they need to and can beat beat any team on any given day. but the Ring still eludes the Nomads

(they haz a Ring) i still love the season they won it. they seem to cut it a little close to demotion lately, but thats how The Swede rolls

This team looks very dangerous, and they will move up in these ranks, im not gonna committ to a high rank yet till i see a few games. but I think they are going to be a contendahh

- I think it will a tough season for the Growl. they had a nice playoff run last year and I think they were surprised they ended up here lol.. well deserved. They only went 8-8 in reg season though, so we'll see

dispite the Champ game the loss I think they have re-established themselves as the front runner in the League. they give Indy fcking fits in the playoffs. the Champ Game is a crazy game, its hard to win. Mistakes hurt, things need to go right. and nothing is a given, especially with the stale sim. They haz 8 rings

Bottom line is Indy needs to win. They have 7 championships but Its a drought now, 5 seasons since they won it. need to step it up in the Playoffs

They were pretty impressive last year, came through a tough conference and played well in the playoffs. I think they'll hang around for a while now that theyre back

we'll see if they are the HOOD of old. Its the LARRY show now

- total wild card, could be very good. they beat Odessa in the pro champ game to get here.

6.DC Freedom. http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team.pl?team_id=13 owner; Ace
- Pretty solid last year and I actually started with them at 3rd. But when you lose to the Volgograd army guys you got some 'splaining to do Ace. Thats not allowed even if its preseason. DC will certainly move up as others move down, but somebody had to start at #6

lolregular season happens in WL too, but you cant go on too long with 0 effort, ask Jersey, thats the reward for playing at the top level, (or the annoyance), at some point you need effort, everybody has great dots by now.

In the cross-conference games (36 games), Alpha went 23-13 vs Zeta, and thats with 6 losses from the Growl. Alpha's Jersey went 6-0, Benitos 5-1. For Zeta ,only Indy and DC played .500. (3-3), eveyrone else played below

so back to Conference play, this is where you go or stay. Ever since the condensing of the Leagues, these games are some of the best. Going back to Pro sucks, and its much harder to get back now.

Alpha

1. Cherokees 9-3
what is it about these guys, so consistent. no promos this year and gone 9-2. so solid. And then santiago beats them in the first game back to conference. So not out of danger, but i think they're in

2. Nomads 9-3 -
consistant as hell too, if not a little more streaky than Cherokee. Only one bad loss. still have some work to do because these next 4 games are when it counts. They already had Growl in 2nd half

3. Santiago Benitos -8-4
newsflash - the Benitos are good. After not doing so well in the conference theyve had some good wins. really good wins. they went 5-1 vs zeta after going 2-3 in the conference. and they have home games left vs Jersey and Nomads. benitos are gonna make the playoffs again imo. the Swede is loling zeta though and he will pay


------so that means somebody isnt going to make it Jersey, Nomads, or Miami

4a jersey 7-5
how do you pick against them right now? miami just beat em (with a helmet), which may end up deciding it, but they just won 7 in a row before that. if they beat nomads in the next game things will be crazy, nomads have 2 of three games away after that

4b miami 8-4
-in general, how do you pick against miami? been here forever, benitos just playing better right now.

Nomads arent safe , and the cherokkees for that matter

Zeta

1. DC Freedom 9-3
- lol, well done Ace. Dc was never really #6, was kind of fcking with them. and they responded. Although They went 3 and 3 vs zeta after a 5-0 conference start.
This year is very similar to their last year, and then they won 4 of 5 the last 5 games of s62. looks pretty legit. probable #1 seed

2. Indy 7-5-
Indy is all over the place this season but have won 4 of last 5. Still dangerous, but not alot of rhythm. just one more win to stay up i think

3. Hood - 5-7
and so is Auburn 5-7 . I think Hood will squeak it out . 9-7 or 8-8 will make the playoffs for a team or 2. you math guys can figure that out. But Hood and Auburn have to play Indy and HHWC still. and auburn has to play DC still as well

maybe it comes down to the game they play each other


4. HHWC -4-8
-dunno about them, lots of inactives, you wonder how many agents are really there, cant be taking care of the youngsters. but who wants to play them at the end of season when they are playing to survive. need wins, but could be out of effort. Lost 5 straight


Auburn 5-7
- they can play their way in. HHWC, HOOD, DC then Indy. if they beat HHWC this week, probly in.

tyrranians - out but can spoil

it all may depend on how much effort DC puts in the last few games vs Auburn and HHWC
