I got tired of losing games that in no way or shape resembled actual football. I know fixmybuildsscrub. Edit to add. Losing probably made it hurt worse, but even winning was not fun playing these all rushing teams. Just wasn't football anymore in my mind.

Actually watching from afar at how well HMD is doing with a balanced game and really enjoying it as a fan thinking there still may be hope.

It's not the offense that is the problem. It is the limited options to defend all rushing teams on defense, and the fact that watching and playing against multiple 100% rushing teams is simply just not my idea of high level football.

Agreed sunder. 10 of the Dragons 16 games are against all running teams. It does grow tiresome. The difference too from earlier seasons is the heavy use of morale busting VA's and extreme build specialization. I'll admit Disastermaster with Running Gag and the others that followed him did a great job of figuring out the system, but the gameplay now is not as much fun. Thank you for posting

I would guess if there were still GLB radio and you were to interview Bort about the current state of the sim, and asked him if this is what he envisioned, I would guess he would say no.

I am here because I like football, and because it is so much easier to win by going rush heavy, that's what people do. Its hard to blame anyone for taking advantage of the game design, but it just isn't football to me anymore. Unfortunately, Bort has all but given up on improving the game, so it is what it is and will be.

Even in WL, the game has gone in that direction, but not nearly as drastic as Casual as the defenses do have more tools available in regular leagues.

My thoughts also sunder. I love this game the more than that, the PEOPLE here. I've made some very
lasting friends and had fun along the way.

Win or Lose............ I'll be here.

For what it's worth my next team will be all passing again

Keep in mind that in season 59 my all-pass Final Boss lost to Gag by just a 53.5 yard field goal in the final second. Boss' offense may have even been better than Pony's is

All-pass can be just as good as all-run, even in casual. But nobody has really figured that system out well yet. I got fairly close but there was a lot of room for improvement.
