Several things came to light in the forum discussion about the ability to create dots with the Free Players we have earned. What can be done? Simple;
#1, All inactive dots/agents beyond 500 days of age should NOT be counted against the positional cap. Once a dot reaches age 500, if the agent is active and the dot is playing, sure... it should still count. But there are a LOT of both agents and inactive dots out there that haven't played in months... years even... and those dots are adding NOTHING to the game... but they are subtracting against the 'demand' for their respective positions. This is wrong.
#2. All PeeWee league dots should NOT count against the cap either. 90+% of all PeeWee dots are recycled at the end of the season, play in a completely different league that doesn't interact with the rest (Casual or World or Regular leagues), and do not usually contribute outside of their respective league. It's a world unto itself and should simply not count against the regular leagues abilities to create dots to fill their rosters... nor should the regular leagues count against the PeeWee teams ability to do the same. Keep them separate. IF... if an agent should decide to keep his PeeWee dot going past the PeeWee league, then it WOULD count once it entered into a contract with a non-PeeWee league team.
Doing these two things would sure free up things a lot for us dot builders and team owners.
