This was the Hedgehogs first WL trip. Going into the game the Navs were 13-0 (they would go on to be 19-0 then lose the WL championship). My Hedgehogs were 7-6. They clearly had better dominant dots, but as a young hotshot passing OC, I dialed up a fairly amazing passing performance to the tune of 718 total yards (652 passing) and 59 points. Keep in mind outside of the championship their most points allowed was 35. We went up 59-48 with 3:24 left in the game. We also dominated time of possession with 36 vs 23 minutes. Unfortunately, the navs came back with 2 TDs, Down by 4 with 10 seconds left on 4th and 10, they threw a streak down the left sideline. D with cover-2 man so they player was double covered. Double pump-fake on the CB and S for a 51 yard game winning TD.... If only the replays were still viewable.
That may have been my best offensive gameplan I've ever had, given the disparity in dots. A bit of a tragedy since with a win there, we go 8-8 and make the WL playoffs on my first trip, bolstering recruiting greatly. I didn't go into to win my first WL playoff game until real life years later with the help of T2 as my DC (season 37, losing in the WL final-4).
Most Proud #2S46 WL Playoff win over Odessa Mojo (44-24):

Their record in that time in the playoffs was 20-1. This is the one game they lost... During these 6 playoff runs, it's also the only time they allowed more than 38 points, and one of two times they allowed more than 28 points.
In the other 20 games the Mojo defense allowed a combined 19 TD and 66 INT. In this game my Hedgehogs passed for 4 TDs, 71.8%, and 8.1 ypa. 316 yards passing and 430 yards of total offense in the 44-24 win.
Nexill the legend made our defense also play AMAZING garnering 6 INT's and holding them to 24 points of course!!!
As far as an offensive gameplan, their D was based around getting fast pressure and forcing throws into double coverage. I did a litterally insane amount of tag countering for both run and pass plays. All my mid-to-deep 2nd and third reads were in single coverage to avoid double coverage pressure INTs. Didn't hurt to have the best recFB in the game on my team (Wise Weapon, thx timp!) but I digress...
Unfortunately we lose in the 2nd round of the s46 playoffs, with details on that game below...

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/game.pl?game_id=2722983The crazy thing about this game is it was 2 teams nexill DC'd. His own superfav Mice, and the Hedgehogs. He agreed to give his all to both teams, and clearly he did, in what ended up as a 23-17 slugfest.
My offense was so bad. 38 plays total, 145 yards total. 4 INT's. I knew we had a better OC and offensive roster than them, I just needed to do what I do... Nasty moral spiral and nothing worked at all.
The worst part, was the INTs were passes I gameplanned for. One CB on their team got 3 INTs, who had only 2 INT all season. two of them were 1v1 fades up the right sideline where the QB inexplicably underthrew for an INT...

In the end, the Mice went on to lose in the WL championship game on the back of Nexill's amazing defense. They lost in the WL championship 17-13... No way would our O been held to 13 points vs the clash (who had the same DC I lit up in round 1). So if I do better OC'ing this game and we win, we had a decent shot a WL championship...

7. This whole thread is worth reading. A+++ Jdbolick is a piece of garbage after the Hedgehogs beat GBB in rd2 of the S37 playoffs. Note, 10 seasons later in S47 he intentionally threw a game (like didn't cover anyone and made his dots all do stupid stuff) vs a 100% shitty 0-win team to stop the Hedgehogs from making the WL playoffs. Still worth this, lololol.
