a paradigm shift? not sure what you're getting it.

In an alternate universe, where WL had never been invented, the Pro tourney would be the greatest thing since sliced bread--because it would be the only interaction teams across leagues would have.

As it stands, WL is a season long pro tourney.

The more I consider it, there *should* be a reward to any who have been here since Season 1 or 2. Perhaps another "free" player (since it still generates flex purchases for custom equipment)?

AH HA! Finally! After years of requests, suggestions, posts, gripes, and such not, the great and almighty BORT has decided we were RIGHT and that shortening the build process with accelerated player creation resulting in a much shorter dot building process!

"This upcoming offseason, we will be making a fairly major change to the player level structure of GLB2. We are doing this to help improve the fun value and competition at all tiers, including Rookie!

- All players will now start at level 5, instead of level 1. They will receive all the SP and other level up items of those first 5 levels right at creation.
- We will be removing the "Seasoned" tier of leagues. Rookie league will now be level 5+ and Sophomore 10+.
- To help everyone fit into to the new system, all existing non-veteran players will be leveled up by +5 levels (Lv 25 max) at the end of this season.
- Since we would otherwise effectively be removing a season of play from all players, an additional 30 games will be added to the base time at Lv 25, for more time at Veteran.
- All current existing players other than Lv 25's will receive the extra 30 games. This does not apply to existing Lv 25 players because otherwise they would be getting an extra season, which would taint all-time records, etc.
- All this will take effect when we do season rollover tomorrow night.

For those of you keeping track at home, this means current Professional and Journeyman leagues will both become Veteran leagues next season, current Seasoned leagues will become Professional, current Sophomore leagues will become Journeyman, and Rookie leagues will still turn into Sophomore.

If you're slightly confused, what this will really mean for most of you is that you'll be getting a whole bunch of skill points at the end of the season, and your new players will start with a lot more!"

Yes! We're finally gonna get some love and some changes to help us out.
