getting back on topic since this is the FAQ forum, confidence is at 82 for level 73. i thought that this seemed about right when i looked at other successful QBs.

yeah, that's higher than most I'd think

then I'd go Speed to drop back faster and start progressions sooner, and Agility (as stated above)

maybe fine tune Quick Read SA...

Trying to squeeze in one more progression shouldn't take a whole lot of adjustment either way

I have heard many OCs don't like Quick Read since it messes up their AIs timing.

yeah, i know part of that is progression, but its so disappointing when you know the next receiver in the list is wide open and yet the pass goes into triple coverage.

It does if the OC doesn't know how to work with it, for sure. I learned that the hard way.

i see a lot of qbs with quick read, but the OCs i talked to have all told me to switch to look off.

Taking it to 10 on every QB is never a good a idea. In your case, if you had it at 2 maybe going to 3 or 4 could help. When building a QB you shouldn't be investing a whole lot into the extra SA to begin with. Everything you need is in the first 3 SAs of the top tree. It's more of a sink to put a couple of SPs at the end of the build.

one thing that might help most qbs, and this will sound weird, if you have a speed wr who seems way faster than everyone, take his stamina as high as you can, past 70 if possible, maybe even do the stamina vet ability. dude has to stay fast the whole game.

I read/reads somewheres that 90 carrying will help you throw from the high head position with your hands, sort of like Jimmy Claussen back when he was going to be the greatest quarterback in history of all times.

also, a little bit of jumping helps a blocking fullback attempt decleaters.

that is super secret, i could be killed just for writing the word fullback and jumping together.

mostly because at a certain point, the defenders are just too fast to get away with it. but, yeah, at the lower levels, its a lot of fun, assuming that you find a team . i havent looked the past couple of seasons, but it wasnt that long ago that most teams ended up with 3 QBs
