It would be nice if the randomized AEQ store was more position specific. A lot of BT are wasted refreshing the store when for example as an Offense player and only EQ more suited for a Defensive player shows up time again and vice versa. Or you have say a HB or CB and only lineman specific EQ comes up. The AEQ can still be randomized just make it the choices more pertinent.

That is the whole point of shopping. When you get lucky, you save a large number of BTs. So you have to make a decision whether to go for the luck of the draw, or just plan to build from scratch. I do wish that they had put some items into the store that could not be gotten any other way.
Sorry man but us old timers have been screamin for this for decades to deaf (WG) ears. Although it's not listed at NGTH... believe me when I say it's absolutely NGTH. 
My advice is this when it comes to 'shopping for AEQ'. Never shop for all 4 pieces. Instead get at least two, preferably three, and build the last one. You'll save a lot of BT's that way.
Also, if you're trying for a highly specific piece (like rushing gear for a running QB), then you're most likely better building all your AEQ rather than shopping for it. For some highly specific positions it's simply too damn hard to get ANY perfect piece (meaning the +3 to your primary skill and the 5% bonus you're seeking).
Lastly, when you shop for ANY dot, don't pass up a less than perfect piece in hopes of something better because better very seldom comes and even if it does, it usually costs you a sh*t-ton of BT's in shopping. Example; You're shopping for AEQ for your OT and you get a +3 strength only piece. Grab it and add on whatever bonus you want. You'll still save BT's doing that by not only getting the piece for less than cost (costs 50 BT's for a +3 to skill) but you also won't be refreshing over and over and over again.
