Week Two Power Rankings:

1.) Volgograd Black Army Damnation - (quality win this week over a tough New Orleans Golden Kangaroos team)
2.) Cairns City Crocodiles
3.) Saskatchewan Black Bears
4.) Cuyahoga Falls Armada
5.) New Orleans Golden Kangaroos - (don't sleep on these marsupials, they led against Volgograd until late in the 4th qtr)

Offensive Player of the Week:
(QB) Dane Babcock -owned by 171farm - plays for Gotham City Crew
How does a quarterback who made zero completions become the offensive player of the week? Easy! (QB) Dane Babcock rushed for a 21 yard per carry average while gaining 293.5 yards and scoring 5 rushing touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week:
(FS) Grey Cobra -owned by twincedar - plays for the Cairns City Crocodiles
In a game against the Zig Zags that was nip and tuck all day, the Crocodiles needed every bit of defense to prevail 24-17. (FS) Grey Cobra brought his lunch pail as he made 18 tackles on the day including this clutch 3rd down stop late in the 4th quarter that essentially killed Zig Zag's final scoring drive:

Special Teams Player of the Week:
(HB) Willie Axlerod -owned by nashbill 74 - plays for Miami RoadFrogs
The Miami RoadFrogs laid an ass-whipping upon the Mekong Delta Force! This SWEET, SWEET punt return touchdown was the icing on the cake:

Week Three Power Rankings:

3.) Cuyahoga Falls Armada - (quality win this week over a dominant Saskatchewan Black Bears team)
4.) New Orleans Golden Kangaroos - (best passing offense in Rookie League Two)
5.) Saskatchewan Black Bears - (tough loss to the Armada in which the Bears defense gave up 77 points)

Offensive Player of the Week:
(QB) Jon Snow -owned by phershey- plays for the Westeros Gamers of the Thrones
How refreshing. A quarterback that actually throws the ball! (QB) Jon Snow absolutely gashed the Zig Zags Defense with 344.5 passing yards and 5 passing touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week:
(FS) Stuffy McStuffer -owned by Dr, E - plays for the Volgograd Black Army Damnation
The Volgograd squad was incredibly stingy on defense this week, refusing to give up even a single point. Their (FS) Stuffy McStuffer made 12 tackles 9 of those were for a loss including this awesome 3rd down and short stop to end a drive:

Special Teams Player of the Week:
(WR) Swordlezz Mimetown -owned by aerds84 - plays for Cairns City Crocodiles
The 64 yard punt return for a touchdown by (WR) Swordlezz Mimetown in the first quarter of the Crocodiles 14-0 victory over the Stordia Slate Feminoles accounted for half of all the points scored in the entire game.

In my opinion, the Week Three Defensive Player should have been Clay Math Da Beast, the Linebacker for the Westeros Gamers of the Thrones. He had 17 total tackles and 12 TFL. But more importantly, the Week Three Goat was Mack Haynes (QB) for the Stordia State Feminoles. Old Mack Haynes stat line is: 3 crushed dreams; 4 wasted opportunities; and; 1 stolen wife.......I miss you Stacy.

3.) Saskatchewan Black Bears - (Nice bounce back win against a quality Westeros team)
4.) Cairns City Crocodiles
5.) Miami Road Frogs - (This team is on the move!)

Offensive Player of the Week:
(QB) JOHN WAYNE MILLER II -owned by Minniemouse- plays for Zig Zags
This beast tore through the Stordia Slate Feminoles for 714.5 rushing yards and a jaw dropping 11 rushing touchdowns

Defensive Player of the Week:
(DE) Baraka Barnes 5 -owned by lbflounder - plays for the Mekong Delta Force
In the closest game of the week, in order to secure their 28-21 victory, Mekong Delta Force had to withstand the offensive onslaught of the best passing quarterback in the league, (QB) Drew Brees. How do you stop such a prolific passer? Sack him!! (DE) Baraka Barnes 5 sacked (QB) Drew Brees twice. The play below is amazing!! With the game tied 21-21 and 1:21 left in the fourth quarter, (QB)Drew Brees faced a 2nd and 7.5 from Mekong's 26 yard line. As the play develops look how wide open the Kangaroos Tight End is. Then from out of nowhere (DE) Baraka Barnes 5 swoops in for the 5 yard sack:

The Kangaroos ended that drive with a missed field goal. On the next possession with 9 seconds left, Mekong scored the game winning touchdown on a 78 yard FB Sweep; all set up by (DE) Baraka Barnes amazing sack two plays earlier.

Special Teams Player of the Week:
(WR) Izzy Gazzel -owned by armadafalls - plays for Cuyahoga Falls Armada
The boys from Cuyahoga Falls needed a big day from their special teams unit against a tough Cairns City Crocodiles squad. (WR) Izzy Gazzel delivered with 3 punt return touchdowns and one kick return touchdown. As usual, he gave all the credit to his fellow special team players and special teams coach Anax42.

17 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss and 4 reverse pancakes

Special Teams Player of the Week:

Finally a kicker is making some noise in this league. (K) Air Force One made 3 out of 4 attempted fieldgoals and also connected on all 5 extra point kicks.
