Man we, most started playing in 2008. The year the economy crashed. I remember we had to let go over 130 employees. Was the right time for this game to kick off. Take your mind off of the negativity that was brought upon us by the poor economy. Bort invented this great game of GLB and people were flocking in droves like we were handing out free lap dances at Naughty Nancy's.

So what has changed since then for you guys?

Me, became a manager making 6 figures. Bought my own house, fast car and becoming a US citizen. Nothing is ever perfect tho, GF of 12 years has a disease in the brain that is slowly killing her. From lover to caretaker, sux man but play the cards your dealt with.

Interested to see how the young gun Jkid has grown up. HE sounded like a 13 year old virgin on the last radio show we had. Whats up brother? Hell that was 8 years ago!

Gerr not the musician Eh? I feel ya. I have always wanted to play instruments. I make some great noise but none of it makes sense to anyone else but me.

I still have a nice guitar & amp, but break it out maybe once every couple months and play it until someone complains, which is usually after 10 min. I just never practiced, which is key to getting good.

Grats, JKid. Glad to see you found a russian bride website that accepted all your excess Flex Points.

I've got a house, dog, and proper grown man pants now. Same GF from 2008, though I suppose we had just met back then. Doing full time programming now. Best part is this: I taught myself JavaScript in order to write GreaseMonkey scripts for this fucking game, and now JavaScript is like half my job. GLB basically got me a huge raise this year. Do what you love kids and you can make a job out of it!
Hobby-wise, I chart NFL game film on the side for footballoutsiders.com in the offseason.

Also I should redo though GreaseMonkey scripts cuz holy crap they're terrible. Or just re-create a version of GLB that isn't abandoned by the developers

Greasemonkey requests are literally the only thing you've ever said to me. I return to the forum after a few years, and you are right back at it. Seriously, man, cmon. I never got paid for making Bort's game playable.

I would of gave you man sex back in the day had you asked sunshine. GLB was my crack!

Ha Ha but seriously if you were to make it more enjoyable I would buy a team and keep it competitive. I just cant build 55 players, watch slow as replaces with no options.

Hello guys. I left retail after 21 years upper management. I am currently working at SDSU as the director of facilities and services. I am married and have three kids all girls. With 4 women in the house I thought I better quit. Two are now teenagers and I am glad I stopped!. Been playing GLB since season 8 I think. Glad to have gotten to know all you guys. You have made it very enjoyable. Tried to stop playing GLB but I keep coming back for more ass whoopings!!!!!!!!!!
