Nope. All FBs have rushing and blocking for their lolbars. That's why I winked when I wrote my comment to Larry. Archetype has no impact on what lolbars are assigned...only the position matters.

As to how a lolbar is determined, I have a rough idea. I think it is a value that looks at a few key attributes that are most critical for the lolbar description. Depending on the values of those attributes, a lolbar level is determined. Here is what I think the attributes are.

Passing - Throwing, Strength, Vision, Confidence
Kicking - Kicking, Strength, Vision, Confidence
Punting - Punting, Strength, Vision, Confidence
Receiving - Catching, Jumping, Vision
Carrying - Speed, Agility, Carrying
Blocking - Strength, Blocking, Agility
Rushing - Speed, Agility, Carrying
Pass Blocking - Agility, Blocking, Vision
Run Blocking - Strength, Blocking, Confidence (I bet no one saw that coming...The best Run Blocking lolbar I ever saw was on a G with 80 Confidence. He actually got a lot of pancakes. If you compare a bunch of the high level dots, the difference between an 87 and a 90 is usually higher confidence on the dot with a 90 lolbar.)

Feel free to discuss and dispute, but if you're going to dispute, please provide links to builds that will support your stance.

You could easily hit 100 in three skills on a QB, K or P, but you would only end up with 2 AEQ.

bar equations were figured out for many of the bars a long time ago

some even included weight

I may have them written / saved somewhere

an example

overall for OL

1/6 blocking
1/6 strength
1/6 agility
1/6 confidence
1/6 stamina
1/12 vision
1/12 speed

always round to the nearest 3

so 78.9 rounds to 78, but 79.6 rounds to 81

1/7 vis

1/14 jump

tackle

4/17 stremgth
3/17 agility
1/17 conf
2/17 vis
6/17 tackle

I was thinking more on a four skill build like a G or a DT and with 3 AEq. I get the feeling though that there might be too many holes in the build for all that limited high skill to compensate for.

Which is why I used terms like 'guess' and 'suspect'. Unless I know for sure I usually don't say for sure. A Scat-FB is one dot I've never built so I didn't know... but I had done a Scat HB before (long long ago) and was trying to draw from that memory.
