Guess it only matters to them when THEY'RE the one's getting screwed over. I got my account (with them) cancelled and settled finally and won't use them again.

that's exactly how to do it. use a credit card with a good chargeback policy and make them come to you.

No. I have used my bank (debit) card ever since. Yes, it seems like it goes through PayPal but the receipt I get shows Warrior Games as the transactor so even if WG uses paypal to get their bucks, it's not the same as actually USING paypal by having to have an actual account with them. I also hear both Prepaid cards (major credit types) work as well.
The MAIN difference is whether or not you SIGN UP with PayPal... create an actual account with them. IF you do not, then any of the mentioned payment options are still available (Mastercard, Visa, ect, ect, ect). You do not have to have an account with PayPal to purchase flex. I've been doing it for years now.

If I click the OR Pay with Debit or Credit Card option, it takes me to the Paypal guest checkout option. Is that the place your referring to when you said that it seems like goes through PayPal...? If so, then that'll work for me.

yeah, you're still using paypal to process payment, whether that's with a card or from your paypal account

Yup. GLB has PayPal to manage it's stuff so no matter what you have to go through them to get your money to GLB but just because you USE them for the transaction doesn't mean YOU are signed up with PayPal. The only reason to sign up with PayPal is (according to THEM) that your transaction process is simpler and quicker and that your money is 'protected' along with your 'info'. That'd be great if I believed them... which I don't. And it'd be even better if whenever you had an issue that needed resolving that there was someone you could contact instead of a 4 month run-a-round that only ended when I denied them their money after the fact. They couldn't go to GLB and get a refund so they finally called ME to 'work it out'. That's why I won't sign up with them again.

Oh... and Pro Tip:

If you check your PayPal balance, and there's a lot of Chinese characters on the screen, it means your account was hacked by a Chinese guy who set your language preference to Chinese so he could read wtf he just hacked into.

That's prolly not a hack ,But a bug that's playing with your computer.
The win10 is pretty bad on browsers so it may crop up again.

I might look for a multi lingual keyboard just for kicks I don't know what I type half the time anyways.
