Place your bets - Predictions for season 54?

For me,

West
1. Tets - 2 time defending West champ
2. Detroit Rock City - Matches up well with Tets
3. Porto - Looks to be solid builds. Can they coordinate casual? We will see, but they had some decent scrims against pro teams last season
4. HOOD - only 1 HOOD team in pro likely means more consolidation of their better players. Could easily move up to the 1 spot.
5. Sofia - team has been fading each of the past seasons since their arrival back into Pro. Snuck into playoffs at 7-9, and no major changes to team.
6. Russian Revolution - Builds based on lolEL seem a little behind the rest. Real LT and LT56 have a long casual history, and they may surprise some.


East -
1. Diablo - No one gets up for regular season games like Diablo. I think they get back to back #1 seeds heading into the playoffs.
2. Denmark - A perennial powerhouse in pro. Capable of winning every game, but we know that will be tough with the teams in Pro this season. I do think they get themselves a home playoff game.
3. Royal Air Force - Defending champs! No roster changes. They were a 4 seed last season, and pulled off a couple minor upsets. Splitter builds good dots, and they easily make the playoffs
4. Rockwood - No way I can pick against us making the playoffs. 4 may not be deserved. Lots of changes in the roster. Time will tell to see how well the moves pan out.
5. Monkey Spankers - 2 seasons removed from Pro demotion in what was a very tough season. Season 52, they proved they still can play with the big boys with a 2nd place GLB Tourney finish in season 52. Still some tough teams to jump ahead of to make the playoffs. They will be competitive, and with the right breaks, can jump up to grab a playoff spot.
6. New Jersey Jets - Made an impressive run through the GLB tourney last season. I suspect they may have been the 1st ever reg pro team to win the CasPro tourney. While that run was impressive, I do believe that quality Pro teams know how to slow down all rushing teams. I suspect (and have 1st hand knowledge of 1 team) some of the tourney teams did not have game plans in to slow down the all rushing attack in those tourney games as they were focused on the difficult pro regular season schedule. Their tourney run obviously proves they can make a splash, but I just don't see them surprising anyone this season. I suspect teams will be ready and will be able to slow them down.

If I'd seen noticed that, I'd have not picked them for survivor

I must have missed this over the end of season break.....good one.

Diablo isn't going anywhere...nor am I, although, I'll have to figure out how to get through a couple lean seasons soon....

I actually thought that was a compliment. I only picked against you because of the chem. If you had 100 chem, no way I take that chance in survivor.
