The big man is a little under the weather and slept all day today but will at least get my predictions out for the week:

DIABLOW CIRCLES vs. Denmark Dragons - Dragons have owned me so I don't think much changes this week...24-13.
Full Perky Tets vs. Durham Blue Devils - Tets rebound after an embarrassing loss last week...38-17.
Detroit Rock City vs. Eaton Beavers - DRC builds a dam to jam up the Beavers...24-10.
Hoodzilla . vs. Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers - Zilla trying to prove they're a top four team and they'll get it done...27-24.
Bier Markt vs. Rockwood Rollers - BM will hold server against the Rollers...38-17.
Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Her Majesty's Dragons - HOOD's got the goods on the Dragons as of late and this week will be no different...42-10.

WEEK THREE SUMMARY

-HEY HEY, five of the six games were within 10 points each.
-Offense went a little south with six of 12 teams scorine 20 or less.
-31 survivor but we had some losses with 10 falling by the weigh side (eight of those due to one of my two teams, you're welcome).
-Upset of the week goes to Rockwood as they flat out embarrassed Bier 16-10.

DOT of the Week
K Vance Bowles, HOOD. Bowles scored all the HOOD's points on three FG's in the 9-6 win over Her Majesty's Dragons.

WEEK THREE PICKS 11-1 on the season.

Eaton Beavers vs. Durham Blue Devils - Both the new teams have yet to win but that ends here. DBD will get a close W here...17-14.

Denmark Dragons vs. Detroit Rock City - Dragons are cruising along and I don't think DRC will be more than a speed bump...38-20.

DIABLOW CIRCLES vs. Full Perky Tets - Tets have yet to beat the Circles so we'll try to keep that story line alive and well...27-24.

Hoodzilla . vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - Junior versus senior here and I'll go with the elder HOOD related team as Uh Oh will get the win here...28-24.

Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers vs. Bier Markt - Both teams limp into the week struggling on the season and needing a win. They've played close in the past but I have to go with my team in attempting to right the ship...23-20.

Rockwood Rollers vs. Her Majesty's Dragons - Rollers got the W last week in the upset and the Dragons played stout in a three point loss so I got the coin toss going to the Rollers in a low scoring game...10-9.

A quarter of the way through the season and my pre season picks (Denmark and Uh Oh) are the only two teams sitting at 4-0 on the season. Two teams are sitting without a win but at the same time they're not being routed. It's been a solid quarter of the way to kick off season 51 with a long way still to go.

WEEK 4 SUMMARY
-21 entered Survivor while four were eliminated.
-Questions abound at what's going on with the Tets and Markt.

DOT OF THE WEEK
DE Yofune Nushi, Denmark Dragons. Nushi played big in the Dragons 20-14 win over Detroit Rock City. The stat line read 4 tackles, 2 hurries, 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a partridge in a pear tree.

WEEK 5 PREDICTIONS
Durham Blue Devils vs. Denmark Dragons - Dragons were tested but the 0-4 Devils will catch Denmark's wrath this week...38-13.

Detroit Rock City vs. DIABLOW CIRCLES - Rube is running a belated Black Friday with his 50% off on his buck a suck weekend business. He'll make more than DRC will score...28-10.

Full Perky Tets vs. Eaton Beavers - Tets licking their wounds as the Beavers got the first W of the season. The second W won't come easy and not this week against Full Perky...34-20.

Bier Markt vs. Hoodzilla . - BM needs a win but they way they're playing they may not get many on the season...31-27.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Rockwood Rollers - Roller rolling along but the wheels will fall off playing the defending champs...45-14.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers - Monkey Spankers hung on for a big win last week and they're not about to give the Dragons any life this season...37-17.

WEEK 6 SUMMARY
-Durham got their first W of the season in beating the Rollers.
-We officially have no undefeated teams left as the Dragons bowed out to Markt in overtime.
-Half the games were within seven or less points.
-10 were left in survivor but seven were eliminated (everyone say "thank you Denmark and Rockwood"). The final three are mdterpsrock3, Pjerome2, and snowtrucks09.
-Lots of FG's missed from 50-51.

DOT OF THE WEEK
RB Julio Huston, Hoodzilla. Huston simply beat the Tets all by himself in the Zilla's 45-38 win. Julia carried the ball 22 times for 305 yards and five TD's (also a catch for 12 yards).

WEEK 7 PREDICTIONS

Hoodzilla . vs. Durham Blue Devils - Durham got that important first W but are playing a hot Zilla team. DBD may play tough for a while but Zilla will get some big plays to open it up...34-20.

Bier Markt vs. Eaton Beavers - Markt got a big win last week and look to continue to step up their game while the Beavers have won two of three. Look for the Bier D to play big in this outcome...20-13.

Rockwood Rollers vs. Full Perky Tets - The Roller face planted last week while the Tets were outlasted. Both looking for a big win but it will be the Tets that outlast the Rollers this week...30-17.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Detroit Rock City - DRC won in the closing minutes last week but face a HOOD team coming off a tough loss. HOOD will regroup and get back on track...31-27.

Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers vs. DIABLOW CIRCLES - Monkey Spankers need a W to keep pace with the top four but the CIRCLES are playing surprising well and will continue to do so...27-20.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. Denmark Dragons - When two Dragons you meet up at least you know the winner will be a Dragon. However, this one will go to Denmark as HMD is simply in struggle mode this season...45-6.

WEEK 7 IN REVIEW
-Four teams at 4-3 in the East (lol East).
-Blue Devils with a big upset over 'Zilla.
-Two games decided by seven or less.
-Survivor over as no teams left standing after week seven.

WEEK 8 PICKS

Denmark Dragons @ Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers - Spankers looking for a win and any win. However, this isn't the week to be playing finders-keepers. RDMS fall a game further away from the playoffs in the East...33-20,

Detroit Rock City @ Rockwood Rollers - Rollers are about to pull and turkey and it's not a good one. This turkey will represent three losses in a row and they face a suddenly hot DRC team...24-20.

DIABLOW CIRCLES @ Hoodzilla . - 'Zilla has dropped three of four games and the CIRCLES don't quite have a foot in the grave. Look for DIABLOW to win a lower scoring game...23-14.

Eaton Beavers @ Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - HOOD's dropped two in a row and they'll get a great effort against Eaton. Unfortunately effort will not get you wins in the CP and the HOOD rights the ship...38-17.

Full Perky Tets @ Her Majesty's Dragons - Dragons are ready to fire but they're no bullets left in the gun. Tets will roll here and let out some frustrations on a recent close loss...45-10.

Durham Blue Devils @ Bier Markt - Make no mistake the Blue Devils have an official winning streak and should not be overlooked. At BM we have no intention of looking past this team and will be ready...34-20.

GLB TOURNEY
11 of the 12 Casual Pro teams are still alive in the field of 16 remaining teams. My money on the Final Four is:

We did it - we're halfway through season 51 and so far not a ton of surprises although I'd say HOOD and BM both being 5-3 is somewhat surprising but not overly surprising.

Week 8 Summary
-Two games with 10 points.
-Being 5-3 is considered a "cool" thing.
-Only one QB has more TD's than picks (HaIo 2 of the Tets at 17/11). This has simply become a no passing league.

TEAM BREAKDOWNS

1. Denmark Dragons (7-1) - Have lost once in OT to an Eastern team as no team in the conference has knocked them off. They're looking to keep the no. 1 spot, get to the title game, and bring home gold. It won't be an easy task but they're sitting solid in the conference.
2. DIABLOW CIRCLES (7-1) - Have played well to kick the season off but this team will get a little worse as we move on due to the mass of decline dots. Still a playoff team.
3. Full Perky Tets (5-3) - Unlike DRC when the Tets lose they get blasted. In the three losses they've lost by an average of 22.3 ppg. The Tets will need to be better throughout the game to beat the top two teams in the conference but sitting solid for a playoff spot.
4. Detroit Rock City (5-3) - Two of the three losses have been by six or less points. It will be a matter of finishig games for this team who's sitting good for a playoff spot.
5. Eaton Beavers (2-6) - The Beavers have put up a fight in their first season but a proble for them is in each loss they've been down at the end of the 1st quarter. They'll need to start games much faster to try to get into playoff contention.
6. Durham Blue Devils (2-6) - Have played much better in recent games going 2-1 to close out the first half. If they can start the second half with a strong start they'll put themselves in contention for a possible playoff birth. There may not be a lot of light at the end of the tunnel but it's still there.

1. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual (5-3) - Have dropped three of four games and don't seem to look the same from the early season start. Still, the defending champs likely have a card or two up their sleeves as we embark on the second half of the season.
2. Bier Markt (5-3) - I've been a bit disappointed how Markt's looked on the season but we march forward and try to work the kinks out. With the top four teams all wound up together each game will be important but sitting alright for a playoff spot.
3. Hoodzilla . (4-4) - Like big brother 'Zilla started strong in their debut season but have lost four of five. They'll need to get back on the winning track because I'm not convinced the Monkey Spankers are down for the count.
4. Rockwood Rollers (4-4) - This seems like a trend "start fast and not so much now" as the same goes for the Rollers. They've dropped three straight after a hot start and as noted above RDMS is not finished so the second half games are going to be big.
5. Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers (2-6) - I'll go ahead and say it - the most disappointing team in the league. They shouldn't be here but are and I expect the team to turn things around and push the above four for a playoff spot.
6. Her Majesty's Dragons (0-8) - The team hasn't rolled oveer but being underlevled isn't going to get you many wins in Casual Pro. They'll get a W or two before the season is over.

WEEK 9 PREDICTIONS

Hoodzilla . vs. Detroit Rock City - DRC is on the fringes as no one talks about them but a couple of close losses to both the Tets and Dragons should cause a least a raised eyebrow. 'Zillas recent struggles will continue here...27-20.

Bier Markt vs. Full Perky Tets - Should be a good one but both teams have struggled at points on the season so far. Will come down to who makes the plays in the fourth quarter and it will be Bier...24-23.

Rockwood Rollers vs. Eaton Beavers - A couple of teams struggling but I've got Rockwood ending that three game skid to get back on the winning track...34-13.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Denmark Dragons - Big game here on what I called the potential title game. Dragons playing to strong for a struggling HOOD team...38-24.

Royal Drunken Monkey Spankers vs. Durham Blue Devils - Big game for two teams looking up trying to get into playoff contention. I got the Monkey Spankers defense assisting them here in winning a low scoring tight one...17-13.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. DIABLOW CIRCLES - CIRCLES are getting old but the the Dragons are a bit young and youth won't win out here...38-10.
