If Bort gave out the rights to one of the long time members. Someone who actually cares about GLB and can make it great again and draw new people in.

There's still a revenue stream attached to ownership of the site. What is sad is that there seems to be ZERO interest in preserving and growing that revenue stream.

Oh no, we are very interested in seeing GLB grow into a behemoth.
When you figure out a way to significantly grow a niche 8 year old browser game, let us know in a support ticket!

Step 1: Remove the "beta" that is listed on the front page of the website...after 50 seasons and no future plans for updates I think it may be time.

They should give me GLB indeed. I would run this sucker into the ground. I mean yea, bring the people back.

Yes, it is sad because the lack of interest is based on opinions and not analysis. For example, Corndog has posted his continued inexperience by indicating this is an 8 year old browser game with no upside. Yet, he forgets it is only 8 years old only to the small marketshare that has played it. It's a brand new experience to the large majority that have no knowledge of the game or WG in general. WG should take a page out of the Fan Duel, Draft Kings and other gaming sites around football and learn how to reach markets.
It would be funny to see Bort and company to appear on Shark Tank some day...

What is amazing is that this is still by far the best browser based football game out there.
