Game Rules
General Rules
1. Be active in the game no matter what your role is. Inactive players will get replaced or killed off.
2. Do not talk about the game outside the thread, unless your role specifically allows it.
3. Do not quote anything sent to you in a private message. Use your own words if you want to pass along the information.
4. Ask the MOD questions if anything is unclear. It is the best way to make sure you understand.
5. Have fun. It is a game, I expect courteous and mature behavior. Play to win but also play the game to enjoy it.
6. Try to post at least once in every game day phase. Days in the game will last no more than 72 hours and Nights will last no more than 24 hours. Weekends count as 1 day.
7. Do not edit the content of your posts. It is not fair if you post something that some people get to see and others don't. Breaking of this rule can result in a quick death by MOD. The MOD is allowed to edit his/her posts. if you do an updated vote count and edit it we will be lenient since you're doing us a favor
8. Keep posts about the game and not bring in outside activity as it confuses the game.
9. NO POSTS AFTER DEATH!!!! It just causes unneeded confusion.
10. Vote in bold. Only Bold votes count. ex. Vote: Dadd
11. Votes for a No Lynch are permitted, and plurality will never be in effect.
12. All roles are completely made up by me, and may or may not be based loosely on pre-existing roles.
Lynches are done publicly with a needed 50% +1 votes for a kill. (e.g. With 13 alive it will take 7 votes for a lynch).
Generic Win Conditions (groups listed here not guaranteed to be in the game):
Town: Eliminate all threats to the town.
Mafia: Eliminate all threats to the Mafia, and have at least 50% of remaining living members.
Cult: Outnumber all remaining living members.
Third-Party: Be the last man standing.
Game Specific Rules
1. DO NOT CHARACTER CLAIM! Characters and roles are setup and based upon their roles in the movies/books. If you claim your character, the sponsors will frown upon you, and you don't want to piss off the sponsors. Characters will also be used within game posts by the mod.
2. This is a no-reveal game. Roles of players will not be revealed upon death. However, the character of the person killed will be revealed upon death.
3. Each player must eat food each night. If you ever go through an entire night without food, you must either acquire food during the next day phase or you will die at the conclusion of that day phase. (i.e. You are out of food entering N3, if you don't get food by the end of D4, you are dead).
4. Each night, you may chose to take your normal night action or chance visiting the Cornucopia. Cornucopia information is as follows:
*** The game starts with 12 zones in the Cornucopia. Zones will be eliminated as the game progresses.
*** If you chose to visit the Cornucopia at night, you send a PM to the Mod with the zone you chose. A list of available zones will be posted with the end of day write-up.
*** Consequences can and will occur if you select a zone that someone else also selects.
5. Night phases may be slightly interactive (between player and mod), so try to check in somewhat frequently during the night phases. I'd recommend submitting actions asap, so that you have time to respond to additional events if needed.
